How is your EU3 Game going?

That's the impression I've always gotten from PI forums. I doubt even a coalition of Castille GB and Italy in that game could get anything more than a WP with France and HRE. Probably what happens is Castille's forces are stopped in their tracks by French stacks, British forces land in Scandinavia or North Germany in too small of numbers to match up to the 50K stacks that the HRE sends. You're probably left taking the brunt of the German assault in Lombardia and Venetia, not ideal IMO. Better idea is to wait for the HRE to rack up the WE and rebels and invade when they're on the verge of collapse, if not later.
I find the French stacks quite easy to beat, I have a good army.
But still,
Better idea is to wait for the HRE to rack up the WE and rebels and invade when they're on the verge of collapse, if not later.
I think I may be trying that idea later on. Cheers!

That game is seriously <snip> if it's not modded... Urbino a major power? Austrian France in Africa? Balkanized Iberia? DAT BAVARIA?

Compared to the AI you're not making much of an impression. But nice diplomacy.

EDIT: Just realized you vassalized all of those allies. I couldn't see Aachen's name over all the armies and colors :p

Not bad. Not bad at all. I take it Balkanized France and/or GB was your doing?

I always found the naming convention for overseas possessions funny, especially after Britain or Spain forms--their colonies in South America say "British England" and "Spanish Castille" in my current game, and we also have "Prussian Inca". :)

Sometimes, I've seen a powerful Urbino revolt out after it has been conquered--the nationalists take several provinces, throw down cores, and then the war-weary Italian minor that conquers them is consumed in the Urbinese uprising.

Well... what can I say, the rebels helped me alot.
The HRE sent 40k troops once in a while, they were no match for my army

.
Time to wait for the truce to expire, then attack the HRE with my new allies.
All hail Napoleone Aldobrandini, king of Italy!

Napoleone? Aldobrandini?

Just to make sure...do you own Corsica? :D
also why not make the HRE survive, but whiout Scandinavia, Austria, Italy and some of the Netherlands? could be quite a nice sight.

I concur. I for one prefer endgames where all of the minors have been eaten up and you're left with reasonably-sized blobs. Makes things exciting, but I spose that's what Vicky is for. To stay on top I should have my Bavaria > Germany game in D&T finished soon (bless lukew's revamped formation decision), and my I'll have completed my Navarra game when I finish my Reconquista of Iberia. I also have two more games that I already posted on PI forums, is it lame to double-post your empires?

Crete in Venice? You've got to be kidding

Again, me and England, I learned a lot from my last game (don't colonize africa, be careful about what provices you conquer, infamy reducing advisor helps. How to convert religion). This will be better.
England 1445. High infamy cuz I just annexed Scotland and I want to form GB ASAP.

PU with castille since 1410 :)

Dat Ferrara.

You should be able to form GB now, right? What are the requirements? (Curious because I haven't tried it)

Cores; of course! That's what I'd missed. I should've thought of that, I had trouble with them forming Hindustan a while back.

My MEIOU game crashes when I try to take a global screenshot, and since I have windows 7 I can't take an ordinary prtscr screenshot!

MEIOU Bosnia game:
I started out in 1391, when Bosnia was the strongest,my first goal was Ragusa, that was quick then I took out Serbia when Hungary also declared war on it, I couldn't take Kotor because the Croatians annexed it, my next goal was taking the Ottomans lands in the Balkans, so I eroded their territories, one by one, Nisava, the one with an S, I could easily do that since most of Anatolia was taken by rebels, I released the purplish state... Vidin was smart and funded patriots in the remaining Ottoman territories and made a big nation but it gut butchered by Hungary. I than took Macedonia and Rodopi from the Roman empire, but than a golden opportunity came when I got the chance to make a union with the Roman Empire, I did such and I cant wait to integrate it, I'm falling behind in the tech race, I desperately need to westernize. BTW I took out Osijek a few months ago. Red are the territories I plan to take, green is my union. England is a hellhole, Munster controls Scotland, England is almost completely taken by rebels, some of which are independent (Cornwall), everything else is pretty normal.

Some suggestions :
- Annex Occitania, make your eastern border prettier as well
- Annex the north Africans and release them as catholic vassals, or just vassalize and give them the cores you conquered from the poor fools. (they are nice vassals)
- WTH with Antwerpen? either conquer entire Belgium or none of it! but France + Belgium is a nice eastern border, so conquer it!
- Inherit Castille and sell their old african provinces to your vassals
- Remember to keep the rich basetax north african provinces, they are awesome.

* Aquileia and Liege into Sky!

No cores - high infamy but released and vassalized guyenne (I think it is the area my france controls) Bourebounouis is protected by the HRE and is only europan core which I do not control.

Never thought of it, but I can't control which provinces I give to a vassal and wich I don't? Cuz if I could do that, I would, but I don't want to lose provinces with high base tax.

All in its good time, all in its time. Burgundy is gone, Liege is now the new Burgundy. Besides, Antwerpen has a trade center - and I like having trade centers (nice boost to income)

- Inherit Castille and sell their old african provinces to your vassals
Not a bad idea, just to keep my tech rate up. I ended my last English game because I was like 6-12 techs behind with my GB and had hard time research anything, esp. the stability. My goal is to conquer the world.

- Remember to keep the rich basetax north african provinces, they are awesome.
Yap. Once Judea is catholic, I can also release the Jerusalem kingdom. But, as i plan to go Protestant, this not be such a good idea ? What's the use of the-release-judea-as-a-nation anyways?

Aquileia and Liege into Sky!
Liege is now new burgundy.

------
I just can't understand how people can do a World Conquest without going over infamy limit, I'm having huge trouble with it.

Well I think they do, but at the point we're an alliance of the whole "free world" wouldn't be able to defeat them.
