I like posts if they seem to me to be posts that should get a like, from somebody, but they haven't got any likes just yet. In that case I become the change I wish to see.
I was gone for about 10/11 years and have only just returned and the "like" feature wasn't around back then. I haven't liked anything here yet but when I do, it'll be because I found something really helpful, funny, or something I really agree with. Another forum I post on has different "like" options so the poster will know why it's been liked. So when I like something, I will stick to that system and just pretend there's other types of like options available.![]()
We'd ***** and moan about it, as Thunderfall intended.I'm not sure how CFCers would respond to there being more choices available.

So liking a moderator post that shuts down a topic that has gone off the rails and really needed to be shut down is PDMA?![]()
He said it, he said Jehovah! Stone him! This was PDMA in and of itself.
The PDMA rules are too vague, and this is the first time I've heard this about mod text. Technically I could post, "Padma (one of the admins) did not ever participate in the Iron Pen writing competitions in A&E" and it would be PDMA - public discussion of what a moderator did/did not say/do. There's a thread about it in Site Feedback - definitely worth a read.So liking a moderator post that shuts down a topic that has gone off the rails and really needed to be shut down is PDMA?![]()
