I actually wouldn't mind a big game right now. I played Fallout 4 for God-only-knows how long [EDIT: actually, Steam keeps track, but I'm not sure I'd want to know], and the main story in that game was by far the worst thing about it.I read Cyberpunk 2077 is about 250 hours long. Who needs that? Having slogged through Mass Effect Andromeda and The Last of Us II at about 60-70 hours each, I have no appetite for something that big. Both of those were great games that were actually worse off because of the bloat.
Oh, great... Maybe it's just as well that I've avoided reading any reviews of Cyberpunk 2077.I am going to write a much longer post about how C2077 handles women and transgender characters when I unpack my computer. From what I have read, it's really bad and I want to contrast it with ME:A.

Uh, not to mention the....weird character customization. There's multiple options for a certain piece of masculine anatomy, but only one for the corresponding feminine anatomy. And apparently there's no actual body type slider. WTH?
You need Dad games. Think back to those times in which you really could sink at least 5 hours every day into a game so you really could spend a few weeks doing it.I read Cyberpunk 2077 is about 250 hours long. The genital section can be entirely disabled if you wish. I know that I was getting distinct slider fatigue before I reached that section.
PoE Mayhem was quite fun up through the free mystery box. I started the endless Delve today and will probably get to level 50. Void leagues:I've felt for a few years now that a game's initial release is basically an extended beta test - or a gamma test, if you prefer - and the games that do an "early access" release with warnings and disclaimers are just being more honest about it. And I'm finding that the tsunami of media coverage for Cyberpunk 2077 is eroding my interest in it. I even heard it mentioned on NPR this morning, which made me want to get back in bed and pull the covers over my head. I might save myself $60 and play Deus Ex again.

I recommend hex-a-hop. Graphics for morons, gameplay for geniuses.
That's sort of beside the point of the complaint thoughThe genital section can be entirely disabled if you wish. I know that I was getting distinct slider fatigue before I reached that section.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who had this thought! Pre-release, some media outlets were hailing it as cutting edge on gender and sexual equality stuff and I thought...uh aren't they in the process of setting up anti-gay zones in Poland?CDPR is a Polish company.
I can see that the game itself does not matter to some people . I miss those old days when the game was judgded by it's quality , not by ideologies. To those judgmental people I can only suggest a career in censorship or politics/propaganda - Leave games for gamers please and take Your ideology someplace else.
For me the strangest thing is that you can customize your genitalia - and then have it glitch out and go through your clothes - but you can't change body type.I've been a gamer for over 40 years. Its not a matter of ideology, its a matter of inclusiveness. I find it offputting when a game like the 1st Witcher has only 2 named female characters that the hero can't have sex with.

Why is it ideology to include more people? Why is it right and proper, and indeed the ideal gamer environment, to limit inclusiveness?I can see that the game itself does not matter to some people . Yeah I'm interested in the game but it's such a hot mess I am not buying it yet. And I've now read multiple reviews about how the uber-repetitive assets and NPCs distract heavily from the gorgeous world. I do not understand how this game took a decade to pull together only to launch in such a state and with such an empty environment.@AdamCrock arguably, people are talking about these aspects rather than the actual game because, from what I read, it isn't in a release state. Bugs and optimization issues abound, while several reviewers note that despite Night City being very impressive, CDPR took a step back in making the world feel alive compared to Witcher 3 (which wasn't particularly great at an alive world)
