Borachio - 20th century but AD, or BC ???

Cybrxkhan - no, he is not Libyan, not North African. But you are very close when it comes to time period.

====================

Well, OK - Bedouins were traveling to that region.

So he could possibly be a Bedouin (or a Proto-Bedouin). And you guessed the time right - ca. 1780 BC (in Egypt there was Middle Kingdom).

So congratulations Cybrxkhan, you won!

But the painting is from the ancient Near East, in present-day Syria, Mari (Tell Hariri), from the palace of king Shamshi-Adad I (or his son Yasmah-Adad):

That's pretty interesting. I thought he looked rather Egyptian, but now that I see the whole thing it now looks more like its similar to Egyptian rather than is Egyptian per se. I do remember that Egypt had a huge influence on the region since the Old Kingdom already, though, so this wouldn't be much a surprise to me.

Hmm. Now this makes me wanna go into my Egyptophile personna again.

Well, I went ahead and put up an Xmas avatar of my OC/persona.

It has red and white. It seems there is a limited amount of decent images of Vault Boy with a Christmas hat, that are 100x100 in size.

I suddenly had an urge to make this my avatar, I don't know exactly why.
If y'all bully me I might retract it in cowardice, so that peace may reign once more.
Though with my unfrequent posting, I don't think most of you would care.

Dear me!

Vault Boy!

I thought it was something out of Tintin, but that my eyes were playing me up.

Slightly late, but my holiday theme is back!

Meh, as if i am going to change my glorious imperial headware with some stupid red and white hat.
Did you exchange a walk-on part in the war for a lead role in a cage? :snowlaugh:

Man, I had to do a double-take on your title. Thought it said "50 Mega-Chicks a Second" at first glance.

I might waste some time here in the near future, and to celebrate that I am going with a new theme.

 It is Anton Bruckner. Here is the original drawing, unfortunately I am unable to find a bigger one.

Oh, right. The Austrian composer.

Still, he does have Prince Charles's ears.

My title is the truth. Worship me.
