Instant e-mail notifications have stopped being sent

Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but we're told it's a matter now of waiting to communicate with the company that's hosting CFC. But it's been EIGHT MONTHS. Isn't communication when there's a problem one of the things Thunderfall pays this company for? Not to mention actually fixing things when they don't work?

How many people have tried to register here, never got their email to confirm registration, and just gave up in disgust? That can't be good for business or CFC's online reputation.
 
So, if we try to use the password reset function we won't get an email? Yikes.
Yep, on the automatic reset, the password would be randomly reset, but no email would be sent or received. For now if you password is lost, it is contact an admin through whatever communication channel you can use to get a manual reset.
 
Then people are advised to use the CFC Chat, #fiftychat, #nes or any other such channel they can find.
 
WOW - the first posts are early February?

At this point I'm totally lost. What is so hard about fixing this?
 
I GUESS that means the hosts have turned on that function and now watching the logs for it to see if that is the spam hole.
 
Do you know when the next Gallery ones should be up? I promise I'll post if they come.
 
I got a few notifications, then they stopped. Were they turned back off, or getting blocked somewhere?

I know I had to force the first one out of my spam folder.

Yes, I checked my spam folder. Yes, I should have had reply notifications for a few recent posts and never got either them nor the daily update on my subscribed forums.
 
Yeah, they were turned off again last night. Spam exploit again.

Oh, he is already registred, but can not reset his passwort.
How can he get an new one without this registration mail?

He has access to Civ:BE for a few weeks now and would probably post some infos about the game:goodjob:
