Is it a good idea to intentionally fail your senior year of high school?

Is that a good idea?

Because nothing says "I'm a winner" like failing to graduate high school before your 65th birthday.

Actually there is a law where I live where you can only be in high school up until the age of 25. At which point regardless of anything, you have to leave.

Actually I think you'd learn that with most people it's 50/50. For some it's the worst 4 years for some it's the best 4 years.

what right do you have exactly to tell people what they'll learn when you're still in high school, and thinking about failing just to stay in?

besides, high school is so petty that the four best years taking place there for someone is kinda sad and would imply they're really only good at adolescent social politics.

Well it would pretty much ruin any college prospects and super seniors aren't really looked up to at the high school level. Though I imagine anyone that would seriously consider this doesn't really have a shot at passing anyway. If you've just got the blues and are worried about the transition out of high school then talk to a counselor or something.

I am a genius. Someone should just fail and get held back like 50 times! God, I'm going to write a book about my idea!
Once you reach a certain age you have to pay tuition to go to high school. I believe it ranges between 19 and 21 depending on the state.

No because College > High School

BY FAR

Having a grown up job > College > High School

By far.

I like making money and telling people what to do.

Er, that entirely depends on what kind of job it is. Some [wiki]Office Space[/wiki] job? Hell no.

Anyway, teenagers suck, and if it wasn't for the fact that it is a temporary phase that everyone has to go through they ought to be banned, so not only no, but hell no.

I disagree. Having money is nice and all, but I don't think I'll ever have more fun than I did in University.

I still support the banning of teenagers. I think we should lock them into jail cells until they grow out of that phase.

@Airstrike Also you should do this. Totally. I can't possibly see any downside to it. Like none bro.

Maybe it helps if you have a passion for what you do. Life isn't just about the persuit of immediate fun. There is a satisfaction that comes accomplishing difficult things, molding something and then seeing it work. Anyway I am 40 and I still don't feel like my life has reached it's peak yet.
