But... All women are beautiful!!! ;)
Not all of inner beauty transfers to sexual attractiveness.
At least not for me, but maybe I'm just shallow :p

Yes, I know you were joking.

Even if he thinks she is anything but attractive?

Okay, I give.

its varies from case to case, about how well they know each other. For example at my work theres a group of certain checkout girls and us nightfill guys constantly do the listed things but its funny. But my mate was once tickled by the manger of the store(who is a old lady) that wasnt funny. Its really all about how it makes you feel.

Are those things sexual harassment? I wouldn't say so. But they could be more than a little creepy, depending on the person.

From a man's point of view, a woman coming on to a guy is anything BUT sexual harrassment.

Depends...you assume the woman is attractive.

Edit: Oops. Mathilda already pointed that out. nm.

Im with matilda on this too. i think its more of flirting than harassment, but of coz, with repeated unsucessful attempt and if they continue, should report to superior or complain about them.

I like to stare at girls's top, does that mean harassment too ?? :P

Sexual harrasment isn't what you say, it's how it's taken. It's even gone so far that I can comment something to another coworker, have a third coworker overhear it, take offense, and my remark is harrasment. :(

We're a victim society, we are.

Sexual harassment suits has gotten out of hand these days. Why all the options are listed as sexual harassmen if they do all of thoes things.

Yes to all, because I derive satisfaction out of checking every box on multi-choice polls.

From my understanding sexual harassment is expressed unwanted attention. In other words, in order for it to be considered sexual harassment the ‘victim’ needs to inform the harasser that the attention is not desired and considers it offensive. If the harasser continues anyway, it would than be considered as sexual harassment. Saying something once is not considered sexual harassment.

Sexual harrasment is when someone keeps dropping artillery strikes on your aircraft carrier.

IMO none of these are sexual harassment on the first attempt.
All of them can become sexual harassmet, if continued after having been discouraged.
Grabbing at body parts is sexual harassement on the first attempt (in most cases).
Agreed, but then it depends on the victim and level of evidence as to whether there'd be any prosecution.

On a side point, if you've harrassed all the co-workers bar one, can you be done for discrimination?*

*Joke doing the rounds on the internet, apologies if you've already spotted it.

as has been said before, none of these are sexual harassment, as long as they are not repeated multiple times.

Under US federal law there are two forms of sexual harassment, quid pro quo - when a superior demands sex in return for some sort of favorable result, and hostile environment sexual harassment.

The second one is the more difficult to define. It occurs when unwelcome sexual conduct unreasonable interferes with normal work, and creates a hostile environment. For an employer to be liable they must be aware of the harassment and failed to correct the situation. The key to examining if it is harassment depends on the context in which an action or comment is made.

Individual actions and comments cannot be taken out of the context of the workplace, but must be seen in concert with all other actions and comments by others in the same setting. Some courts have applied a "reasonable woman standard" to determine if the actions rise to the level of harassment.

Saying "Nice rack Baby!" in an setting where there has been no prior comments or advances would likely not rise to the level of harassment, Saying "Would you like to go out?" may be harassment in an environment which has seen repeated an overt sexual commentary, advances and actions.

Touché.

I'll add, however, that IMHO these qualify as improper behavior, and that's it. My definition of sexual harassement in a place of work involves the part doing the apporach abusing a position of power before the other part in order to make his/her advances sucessuful. Sexual harassement, IMHO, is not about being an inconvenient jackass, but about using "status quo" to employ cohercion.

Regards :).
