730 BC (0): The Germans do indeed have Masonry, as well as Iron Working and Map Making. We might want to take it from them

or just get it from the Great Library, if we can grab it. Barcelona, which will grow to unmanageable levels, is MMed for shields to prebuild faster- we'll get Literature in 4 turns, anyway. Vittoria swapped to rax from settler as we won't get very many more cities, even from the settlers we have currently roaming. Madrid swapped to temple as its growth rate is sky-high and it will need it soon- we have enough rax near the German borders that building one here can wait.
710 BC (1): Barcelona has a worker joining it, raising it to size seven, and allowing it to hire an entertainer while still growing. I know that we need more workers, but as the AI seems to be snapping up wonders fairly quickly, we don't want to lose TGL. It is currently MMed to grow in 30 turns- leave it there, as any further growth will require either an increase in the luxury rate or yet another worker added in.
690 BC (2): More temples/rax built; I'm not going to list them all, but the general build order for cities away from the border with Germany is defender-temple-rax-horse or defender-temple-workers in case of it being too far off in the jungle. Cities on the border are tasked to military duty as they already have temples. Zamora founded near spices and gold, in a jungle river.
670 BC (3):
650 BC (4): Literature discovered; I start research on Map Making in 17 turns at 6 gpt- as we're concentrating on horsemen, we don't need Iron Working immediately, and can possibly get it either from Biz or TGL. Barcelona swapped to TGL, due in 27 turns. Madrid MMed to grow more slowly as it will be unhappy when it does.
630 BC (5): Germany starts the Great Lighthouse. Santiago gets an entertainer for the time being- we need cash for a potential discounted buy of tech, and it has no more improved tiles to work with the extra citizen.
610 BC (6): German galley appears on the east coast, and will probably deposit a settler somewhere if it follows past patterns- just a heads-up. Otherwise
590 BC (7): German spear/settler pair spotted either heading for a galley at Bremen or to settle somewhere close to our boundaries. Map Making sped by a turn at the loss of 1 gpt... which didn't make a difference before. Madrid gets an entertainer, being fractious at size 6.

530 BC (10): Almeria and Teruel can be swapped to galleys when we get Map Making (in 9 turns), and there is a stack of horsemen at Pamplona, ready to ride across Germany once we get enough of them. Germany currently has a 'strong' military relative to us, as we have no spearmen, so our border cities WILL need spearmen built either right before or after we go to war, to avoid the German counterattack, especially if he has iron. He has Iron Working, but I haven't seen any swordsmen yet- keep an eye out for them. There's a galley lurking on our east coast, which will probably deposit a settler near our territory. It will be hopelessly corrupt for Biz, but it can be kept in mind as a city-to-be-demanded during peace talks if it makes it over. There is a settler active near the whales on the northeast coast, that can be moved if necessary, and another headed to grab the spices and fish on the north coast.
