KIOT I- What is this 'Logic' you speak of?

OOC: A question to the CSA: is there slavery in your nation? Are you like the old one, or is it only in name? I'm interested.
A question to the Pirates: So, you're like at war with everyone, or what?
A question to Indonesian countries: How are we going to divide up the Pacific Islands?

96 to spend
Build 1 army band of men with AK 47s
Brutally subjugate the following 4 territories
Put the rest into industry raiding, stealing, smuggling or taking over factories and using them to mass produce weaponry, forcing the workers into slave labor

Diplo:
Takrur offers NAP to all African nations
From Admiral of Mogadishu: Sure, send us a shipment of AK 47s and we promiss not to kill you (for now)
From Admiral of Djibouti (OOC: Second city): No raiding each other? Why, whats the fun in that?
From Warlord of Ethiopea: So we havn't even attacked and your already beging for mercy? I smell blood.
A question to the Pirates: So, you're like at war with everyone, or what?
From All: No! Give us guns and we can be perfectly resonable people!
OOC: No NAP unless you pay us. Not at war with everyone yet, but very militaristic and will declare war at the drop of a hat (to steal the hat)

Bengal Tigers :

The tigers came to know of the people from the north. But what their wishes and plans were, no one knew. Buddhists were generally known to be peaceful, but all is not what it looks at first.

A diplomat has been dispatched to our neighbors, offering peace and trade rights to them. It was, however, made clear that if they were to move further into the Indian Subcontinent, it would be considered an act of war.

Diplomats were also sent out to the neighboring states offering trade rights.

Income to be spent : 96
The tigers will raise TWO armies spending 20 income.
The rest will be used in Infrastructure.

An area was claimed. we wish to take over as much of land nearing our states as possible.

KUOHANG TO CUT RATES 0.5%

(TAIBEI) The governors of the Kuohang, the Nanyang Republic's central bank, announced today a 50 basis point cut in its basic rate, lowering the rate at which it lends to private banks from 2.25% to 1.75%. This expansion in the money supply has been enacted to ease fears of a "credit crunch," indicating some concern by the governors that the current economic expansion may be threatened by a lack of credit.

In response, shares on the Nam Pei Index rose 4.1%, as investors expressed bullishness about the state of the Nanyang economy, currently projected to be the fastest-growing in the world. However, fears are widespread that the budget working its way through the National Assembly contains a significant expansion of government spending, tempering investor enthusiasm.

While broadly welcomed, this move has been controversial with many importers; the Kuohang's expansionary policy is expected to make imports more expensive, hurting retailers dependent on foreign goods. Liu Jianji, chairman of the Bakun Aluminium Council, was critical of the government's move. According to Mr <>, "The Bakun smelters provide nearly ten thousand jobs, all of them almost exclusively dependent on imported ore. Every industry depending on imports will suffer, and the costs will inevitably be passed on to the consumer."

Mr Liu's concerns are shared by some economists at Nanhai University. A policy paper published recently has urged the government to peg the currency to a basket of goods or foreign currencies, suggesting that an export-driven model of economic growth is more appropriate at this stage of the Republic's development. Nanyang's central bank, however, has chosen to disagree, at least for the next five years.

The Chinese Chairman of Trade, Bai Ai, has come to California to deliver the following message to Donovan Davenport.

Greetings earnest leader! China needs to recreate its merchant empire. You too need to develop your own economic strength. Therefore let us show that the Pacific is a mere puddle of salty water by commencing a demonstration of a new found friendship by the means of our trading desires. Let there be a Free Trade Agreement between China and California. This will be the demonstration of our new found friendship. This agreement may also combined with a Non-Aggression Treaty as a demonstration of trust and, if you really wish to embrace this new comradeship, have there be the acceptance of a Defence Pact so that we can prevent savage invaders from attacking our great lands. While we continue why do we not forge a Non-Government Naval Force known maybe as the Pacific Merchant Navy to guard the trade fleets our nations will be sending to one another? We can forge that during the next period of our grand policies. So... you want friendship with China?

We agree to the Free Trade Agreement, as well as the Non-Aggression Treaty. However, we do not wish to be bound by a defensive pact at this time. We also would like to inquire as to the purpose of the non-government naval force, which we do not agree to at this time.

OOC: Im still wondering what ChiefDesigner was talking about. Was he just RPing, or actually affecting the game?

He was setting Monetary Policy; Expansionary Monetary Policy, to be precise.

The Premier is pleased with your agreement that we should seek union in method of trade and oath to not be aggressive to one another. We are slightly saddened from the disagreement over the purposed defence pact but we pragmatically understand your status. As for the non-government naval force its purpose is as given to protect both our merchant vessels. It will protect the vessels the likes of pirates, terrorists and hostile nations. We predict that our merchants will be more committed to trade with the reinsurance that the vessels are to be well protected. We are saddened no you state to not have interest in this in this time. We would have forged it in the next round by method of both contributing to this single naval force as method that we pay half for the fleet and you pay the other half. Still... the Premier for now would be interested in organising a visit to California to increase our bonds and to inspect your factories to learn from them. You may do the same when you come to China. The Premier will like to challenge you to a ping-pong match. You like?

We are glad to hear your acceptance of our terms, while remaining steady in our polite refusal of an N-G Merchant Fleet. Very well, come take a tour of our nation. Let us make good terms with one another. Our lands are open for your military to pass through; is yours open to us?

Open borders? Both our borders are open to each other, including our armies! Parades all round! The Premier will need some time to organise, especially with manners of a meeting on the internal economics of China, but he should be visiting your land in a few days time. Remember the ping-pong match. If you fear not matching the Premier in that most Chinese of sports then we suggest we have one of your national sports for the Premier to take part in. The leaders of two nations sporting against each other are an occurrence the most watchable, no? Of course the physical acts must not have harm done to the Premier or the cause of the harm will have to come face to a Chinese court as part of our international openness. Those who harm the Chinese Premier have to face Chinese law. Fairness this be. Let this meeting to be between our leaders mark the closeness between our peoples.

The Nanyang Republic has expressed an interest in opening talks with One Vision regarding the disposition of the Indonesian archipelago.
