KLM names a plane "Kostas Kenteris"???

I just came back from vacation and I haven't watched the news lately.
I just heard though that KLM named one of it's planes "Kostas Kenteris"!
I found that pretty strange since Kenteris (winner of the 200 M race in Edmonton and in Sydney) is Greek and has nothing to do with the Nederlands...
Anybody has heard of that?

Didn't hear anything about that. I wouldn't be surprised however if they have a "line" of aircraft named after great sportsmen.

KLM named the plane "Kostantinos Kenteris" because its first flight Kneteris was aboard

Yeah I heard that too now on the news...
And two Ferry boats are going to take Kenderis name in Greece too.

These are the kind of things that can destroy an Athlete...
