Hongi Hika (Maori) - 30 Nemequene (Muisca) 19+1=20 They need to be in. And we need more natives. Idia (Benin) 27-3=24 No, i don't get it why this civ is so popular.
Hongi Hika (Maori) - 30 Nemequene (Muisca) 20 - 3 = 17 (Everyone remaining is native, and I don't think the Muisca are worthy of inclusion just yet. I can think of other conquerors with legal codes (Justinian, Suleiman, Hammurabi) who would better fit that personality than Nemequene, and we are down to tough choices now) Idia (Benin) 24 + 1 = 25 (Africa for its population is not well represented in game at the present time. Having an iconic female leader who was a warrior, magician, political advisor and mother of the future Oba of Benin would go a long way for representation and interest generally)
Noo, Tamar is dead and she didn't get in top 3 :-(
Hongi Hika (Maori) - 30+1=31 - If someone should win, let it be him. Although I like Idia and Benin in game, I think Maori would be a better addition. Nemequene (Muisca) 17-3=14 - I blame you! And seriously, I find both Idia and Hongi Hika more exciting.
Idia (Benin) 25
Btw. Having a Caucasian leader =/= having a Caucasian Civ
Hongi Hika (Maori) - 31 Nemequene (Muisca)- (14-3)=11 Nemequene can settle for third place after beating the meme lady. I've made my point about South America needing a second native Civ. Idia (Benin) - (25+1)=26 I think the West African coast needs a Civ, and Idia is a decent choice to lead Benin.
Hongi Hika (Maori) - 31 Nemequene (Muisca)- (11-3)=8Find them less appealing than the other two. Idia (Benin) - (26+1)=27 If the West African Coast did get a Civ I would want it to be this one with this leader.
Hongi Hika (Maori) - 31 Nemequene (Muisca)- (8-3)=5 Happy now, Kimiimaro? They are a good choice to end third. Idia (Benin) - (27+1)=28 She might lose to the Maori, but I'll support her this time. Another female African leader would be great.
Hongi Hika (Maori) - 32 Nemequene (Muisca) - 5 - 3 = 2 (His fall is inevitable at this point. He did make it into the top 3, so people should be happy about that.) Idia (Benin) - 25 + 1 = 26 (I think she's a worthy rival with Hongi Hika for top spot. A very capable leader; the fact that she's female is just an added bonus)
No, since Charles IV is eighth and Tamar is fourth
Hongi Hika (Maori) - 32+1=33 - I'd like to see both, but I think this would fill larger cultural gap. Idia (Benin) - 27-3=24 - While West Africa definitely needs a Civ, I would prefer to see a Civ from Oceania that isn't Australia.
Hongi Hika (Maori) - (33-3)=30 He did encourage Pakeha settlement, so that's a strike against him. Idia (Benin) - (24+1)=25 Voting for the underdog, her region is definitely underrated in Civ.
Hongi Hika (Maori) - (30-3)=27 Not sure if he would be my first pick as a leader for the region. Idia (Benin) - (25+1)=26 Have we ever had a possible magician/healer leader before? If not she would be cool.
Hongi Hika (Maori) - 27+1=28 - I really like both, but if I had to decide who to put first, I'd probably picked Bohemia Maori. Idia (Benin) - 26-3=23 - A great choice to lead Benin, and Benin is a great choice to represent West Africa, but I think I'd like to see Maori and Hongi Hika first.
Hongi Hika (Maori) - 28+1=29 - America first, Polynesia second! Idia (Benin) - 23-3=20 - I'd prefer to see Mali before we put Benin in the game. I wouldn't mind it, but please wait a long time before you put them in the game. We need so many other civs.
Hongi Hika (Maori) - (29-3)=26 I'm not letting the Maori win without a fight. Idia (Benin) - (20+1)=21 Mali can't represent West Africa all by itself. Idia/Benin would add more flavor.
Hongi Hika (Maori) - 23 - 3 = 20 Another tough choice with both of these leaders definitely deserving the top 2 spots. He is certainly one of the (if not THE) strongest and more interesting choices to lead the Maori. Additionally, if I were basing this one on the civs then I'd probably pick the Maori for more of that Oceania representation over Benin for west Africa which I see as not being quite as urgently needed (especially since most of us would probably prefer to have Mali first if a choice needed to be made). However, since I'm basing this on just the leaders themselves, I'm giving an ever so slight edge to... Idia (Benin) - 22 + 1 = 23 She's another strong leader but what puts her a bit above Hongi Hika for me is the gameplay potential for her medicinal knowledge.
