Leugi's Israel for VP

Then in the meantime I'd like to share this fix I made for personal use.

Changes:
- moved Israel 4UC from MUCfVP to civ mod.
- removed kibbutz code in xml and recoded it in sql that allows to switch it on (off) when MUCfVP is enabled (disabled).

Instructions:

1. As usual: remove any version of Israel, download the zip and extract it in the Mods folder.
2. Go to MODS\More Unique Components for VP (v 86) and delete the folder "Israel"

EDIT: this should solve also the bug whereby workers of other civs can construct the kibbutz.

FYI with this Version the Shophet shows up twice

If you haven't already, you'll have to delete the Israel folder in 4UC. That is probably where the 2nd shophet is coming from

I downloaded Leugi's Israel for VP - 4UC Compatibility and I can't activate it. Says mod is missing required dependencies. Says it depends on 'More Luxuries CBO Edition' and BNW Expansion. Obviously I have the expansion, and I thought More Luxuries is part of VP.

Does anyone know what is happening here?

I don't know where you took it but it seems you downloaded a very old version of the civ.
You can find the last version in the first post of the first page.

I completed an immortal game on VP 4.9 using Israel and i have to say i absolutely love despite some bugs here and there.
1-The Shofet does not seem to benefit from any policies that normally buffs GG; it gets nomovement or aura boost from imperialism opener and regimental system; it gets no movement boost from autocracy.

2-The UNW does not really reduce religious unrest on other cities; only my religion was present on my continent (no other religions were founded on the my continent either) yet all of my cities had religious unrest starting from late classical/early medieval despite every single one of my cities having almost all of their citizens following Judaism.

3-Kibbutz can be built on top of villages, forts, lumbar mills and even on top of hills with access to fresh water.

I like the UA more than any other component to be honest; getting encampment clearnce quest from Citystates in addition to the GG points for early Shofets is really enjoyable for me.

It looks like the 'judge of Israel' promotion on the shophet isn't triggering in the latest versions of VP. The bonuses on GW's and GPI's are still awarded though.

Am I the only person encountering this or can someone verify?

For me, the 3rd and 4th component even don't show up in the latest version.
