I wanted to do Gia Long for Lokulus's 1790 scenario but ended up doing Ho Chi Minh. Figuring that anyone can use it for a Vietnamese civ. It uses Genghis Khan's body, Asoka's robe, Mao's animations, and the asian Settler Unit's hat.

Nice LH, although I may suggest a more contrasted shirt. Right now, it looks as though he has no arms. A great LH though :goodjob:

More elaborate robes with the ability to see where the arms begin and the body ends would make this much better. But I like the way the pieces fit.

This is a great start...although I tend to agree that depicting HCM with the peasant's garb isn't quite right. I'd much rather see him in the white suit/grey beard ala the picture in the Wikipedia article.

I am glad someone finally got an HCM leaderhead, at least.

Ho Chi Minh was a communist... BOO!!!

but nice LH anyways. :D

I'm not a communist and I won't say BOO!!! - because I know that originally "Uncle Ho" merely wanted an independent Vietnam, a legitimate desire, which was blatantly ignored by the Western powers at the conference of Versailles after WW I...;)

Unless you're professor William Duiker, can we please keep political non-sequiturs on Ho Chi Minh in the off topic forum?

Back to the issue at hand, I really would like to use HCM/Vietnam in a mod I'm working on, but I'd really prefer an 'older', less-peasant looking Ho, along the lines of the main picture on wikipedia....
