Uh, back on topic, guys. Hey, you're closing 4000 posts, emu! Not that you'd really care, of course... Just mentioned it.

Man as in human. And I is 15.

yes but it was thanks to me that masra is now the dominant faith, in 3 nations now, and soon it will be the only form of crystalism left

Religion is destroyed and rebuilt, cultures stand. In fact, tons of people "fight for" religion so it's not exactly a good thing :p Religious fractions tend to result in large wars in fact...

Not really. Religious disagreements are way overrated - the most infamous religious wars have had that as a mere casus belli and a method of fueling the hatred. I do not recall any war fought solely for religious reasons, or cultural ones for that matter - neither in this NES nor in the real world.

Stop posting! the thread is too big!

gerber-shalamari war?

That one is too easy. We are fighting to eliminate a perpetual menace lurking near our borders, a civilization that always attempted to subjugate us - one way or another. So basically its a typical paranoid preemptive strike combined with hopes for a landgrab and now - for a general national revival (or general national death).

I assume you didn't notice the "" around "fight for" das? :p

cause your nation is.... insane

Very observant you are. ;)

I assume you didn't notice the "" around "fight for" das? :p

I have, but your next sentance seemed serious. :p

The next sentence was used to show how people use religion for their own personal gains like you said :p Witness the three Gs of Spanish conquistadors "Gold, God and Glory" with Gold being in front of God ;)

CONFESS! You thought they DO cause wars!

Hmm...what is the best NPC left to take in this NES?

Or should I just make my own nation?

With this post, we have now beaten RTOR2 for longest NES ever.

:worship: :worship:

EDIT: Stupid crossposting. But yay! We're the longest ever!

You bastards! You did it on purpose too! You stupid disgusting putrid cysts the lot of you

Yes they do, because they offer people convinent excuses to start wars :p I'm still right! I WILL NEVER CONFESS! :scan:

Create a new one - or perhaps rebel. Soon there will be lots of opportunities for rebellion, as if there aren't enough now. Though you might take one of the post-Veritasian states in the east. Kalmar doesn't sound too bad if you want to be an underdog that isn't UTTERLY pathetic.

EDIT:

Yes they do, because they offer people convinent excuses to start wars

There are other excuses. Gerber for instance had never started a single religious war. We go by two standard casii belli: revenge and paranoia (i.e. pretty much everyone is conspiring against us or has conspired against us in the past, which is why we must fight them). Admittedly, before I took over I do not recall us having ANY casii belli at all, as is unfortunately usual for NESes. We merely attacked because we attacked. ;)
