I did not realize it either. I was just capturing the cities you had set up for me and moving toward getting the S. African city of Bapedi. When I got near Badedi and only German city I saw Dortmund I check and found out it was the only city the Germans had.

I used up most of the Settlers you left on the Mountain. After to rush buy a few to replace them.

Amazing how much you can get done with Blitz attacks and 3 moves.

I don´t think it would be worth the time of Flintlock to rewrite the coding of that advisor - and the brain dead AI advisor could say (if this would be possible): "Who is here brain dead ? In 184 turns the city is growing several times and massively enlarging its production. Who is denying this, has the IQ of a carrot" :crazyeye:

Extraterrestrial carrots maybe be very intelligent. In a movie from the 1950s titled "The Thing from Another World" one of the human scientists describes the alien organism which is killing the humans as resembling a carrot. :mischief: Also, the governor is instructed not to build any air units. Therefore, the Airport is of little value since it only costs 1 slave to build a landing strip. At best, the AI advisor is acting like a true bureaucrat. :lol:

I checked and the population loss was not starvation as (Edit: cities) even with surplus food lost 2 population each for 2 turns so 4 total (but 2 for towns). If you look at the civopedia, it says you lose 2 population going into communism and it happens twice. We want towns to be size 24 when we approach communism. If they starved they likely lost 5 or 6
 
Do I vaguely recall that CCM has the "forced resettlement" government-flag (-1 pop in Towns, -2 in Cities -- and -3 in Metros, but CCM doesn't have Metros) switched on for both Anarchy and Communism?

If so, that would explain why you lost pop-points twice doing that gov-switch.
 
:yup: Yes, when transferring to one of the extreme governments Communism or Fascism (those with the barracks!) in CCM 2.50 you still have this doubled 'bloody anarchy' penalty of a doubled forced resettlement.
