Romney on Univision.

This is the best election ever! It's like he's the Kerry of 2004 except instead of being swift boated he's doing it all to himself!

I know, it's amazing!

I can't wait for the tax returns to leak in late October.

Mitt Trump.

There's a special sun that can turn people orange. There must be.

Who let Mitt sleep in the tanning beds again?

Kolob. hoho. I had to look that up. No. Because I've seen any number of well known people turned the same orange. Unless, of course, they are all cryptomormons. Hmmm.

Maybe it's just the lighting + one day under the sun?
Maybe Mitt's professional tanner was a bit careless?
Let's not jump to conclusions, people.

It could be a spray on tan; he did have an audition to be part of the Jersey Shore cast after the interview.:mischief:

There is a sun that can turn people orange. It's the sun in the alternate reality that Republicans live in. Where the invisible fascist Obama lives.

Wow, you're right Formaldehyde.

Mitt's campaign is dead if people are seriously getting caught up on his skin tone. He's one endless gaffe machine.

To be fair, it's pretty hard to tell exactly how much mitt's color has been changed in just these two screen caps. Stage makeup is designed to interact with the specific color temperature of the lighting instruments, and the cameras - hd, digital, or video - will be white balanced to that environment. If a different camera then takes a shot of the scene with those corrections the skin tone will naturally look unnatural.

That said, I don't think that's the only explanation of what we're seeing here. But it's important to keep the above in mind. It's the same effect as when a broadcaster isolates one person's mic channel and we hear a bizarro scream (think Howard Dean) . In the context it's not bizarro at all.

Edit: check the white of his collar in each photo. They're different, so you can't assume his skin is as different as our brains interpret it to be.

EDIT:
Hours later, I now see there are massive gaps in my post.

Nice catch brohammad. But can't you just let us all hate on Romney without interference from the fact police?;)
