GM Comment: The voting deadline will be extended by two hours to 8pm NZ time (+13 GMT). However, the internet at my home is down at the moment (funny that, never had a problem with it for 2 years and all of a sudden I host this game and it has gone down twice.) However, if there is no update at the above time you can assume that my internet is still not working and that an automatic extension of 24hrs has taken place.

Even if my home internet is permanently down, I can still handle things from my workplace. The exception today is, that I will be attending a work Christmas party so won’t actually be at work. My level of drunkenness afterwards will determine whether I come back to the office or not…

EDIT: After countless hours on the phone trying to get someone to reset my database profile so that my connection can be restored, I have been assured that it will be working when I get home. I suggest you all should pray that my telecommunication provider have done a good job, as they are in for a world of abuse should the internet connection be non-fuctional when I get home.

(OOC: I apologise for my inactivity so far, and especially to those of you who've PMed me and are still waiting for an answer. I've just worked a 14 hour day, and right now I'm too tired to think, but I'll be back in the saddle tomorrow.)

So soon into a game with nothing to go on, any guess is as good as any, but I am also of the mindset that it's probably not the best option to go for an absent person. There was a lot of activity last night.

Unless Tforge is of the type to intentionally lurk in games, I think he'd be saying something to save himself. Even if he were a lurker, you'd think he'd say something to stop his own death. Bottom line, everyone who is voting for Tforge right now is very high on my scum-o-meter. I will reverse that sentiment with my apologies if he turns out guilty, but the odds aren't in your favor, folks.

You would think he would say something to defend himself if he were watching. I agree that the odds are not in favor of him being guilty, but with no one else to blame should we let everyone off the hook. Should Sabretooth, Juggernaut, and the other killers dictate the pace of the game? If we do lynch him, how can you tell if he's guilty? Professor X is a mutant but I doubt he's a bad guy, the same goes for Wolverine, Colossus, and Gambit. If he hangs and is a mutant some will be happy; if he's human others will be.

For now I'll listen, and we'll see how this plays out. That and I don't want to be a blip on AskThePizzaGuy's scumdar:bowdown:.

What would you suggest we do then? Not lynch anybody? IMHO, we're going to lynch TForge for inactivity at some point-- he hasn't logged on for three days and I doubt he will for any significant amount of time for at least two weeks. Longer if he has plans for christmas. We may as well take the opportunity to do it now, with no better options, than to wait until we are more informed and have better targets.

What happens if a player has exactly 50%? That's a lynch right?

Ninja edit @ rhawn: If your vote stays on ATPG, TForge is saved barring intervention from one of the abstains or a vote switch. Sentiment noted (and I sort of feel similar), now move it back please if you agree a lynch is the right thing to do

That is a valid option considering our other choice is to kill Tforge. However if you're looking for suspects, I've already mentioned who I think bears watching.

Very well; difference of opinion I suppose. I am just saying, it seems to me he passed the "flinch" test. Since we do have the options, and we have some extra time, I wanted to weigh them. The debate itself is also useful because we can see which side of the fence certain people came down on, which might indicate things later on.

Just gonna point out, he doesn't pass the 'flinch' test if he never noticed the fake punch ie: hasn't logged on to see it :p

After some lengthy deliberation, I'm going to switch my accusation to Camikaze. There's just something not quite right about your story.

And if that's the case, he hasn't logged on to murder either.

So if he's active, he knows he's dead and doesnt care.
If he's inactive, he hasn't murdered or attempted it.

Or maybe he logged on to murder and then went inactive, but I am having trouble accessing his page. I did a member search and it came up with bubkis.

After some lengthy deliberation, I'm going to switch my accusation to Camikaze. There's just something not quite right about your story.

I have a story now?

It seems I am outvoted. Camikaze to at least tell us something

What exactly would you like me to tell you?

And I don't think voting randomly for Renata is going to do me any good anymore. Her reaction in voting for me is reasonable given me voting for her. It would seem a dumb move for someone who isn't innocent, in any case.

civplayah, on the other hand, was a nice proponent of actually killing someone, which I thought we had decided would be a pretty useful thing to do, and wildly unlikely of hitting a target. Simple maths people. We have no evidence. The chances of getting someone guilty are not good. But then civplayah came along and suggested that maybe we should vote for someone. And then proceeded to vote for me. So I have my eye on civplayah. And Autolycus.

But, seeing as my priority is saving myself, I'm gonna change my vote to Tforge13.

Day 2

The day has ended

- - -
With all that happened last night, the mood within the auditorium was certainly changed from what was manly just shock the day before. It didn’t take long for the people gather to look for answers. The person with the most suspicion on them sat silently in the corner. In fact it was her silence that drew the most attention. It didn’t take long for several people to start asking questions of her. Whether she was frighten of everyone or had something to hide it was difficult to tell. Either way, she kept quiet and didn’t utter a word. Even after Senator Autolycus told her she was going to be made an example of, she didn’t make a peep. This naturally made people quite uneasy and unsure how to proceed.

Fortunately a young looking lad named Nathaniel Essex somehow managed to draw attention to himself with his proclamation that they shouldn’t proceed on a wild goose hunt. “Get him up here” yelled the Senator and before Essex could react he found a dozen pair of hand on him dragging him to the front. “What do you have to say for yourself” The senator demanded. Essex looked round in a state of confusion. “What are you talking about? I haven’t done anything!” However someone yelled out from the group of onlookers “It was him that shot the senator”. The next thing anyone noticed, one of the Senators aids had placed his gun up to the side of Essex’s head.

Professor Winston Hughes tried in vain to stop what happened next, but he was too late. Where Nathaniel Essex’s head once was, there was just a mushy red mass. The body dropped to the floor and the Professor wheeled himself over to it. He placed his hand on the body; perhaps he could get a reading from him still, memory in his cells or something.
Spoiler :

Camikaze (Nathianiel Essex) was Innocent.

“See what happens when you rush things Senator... There is a better way.” With that the professor left in disgust. And everybody retired for the night leaving the senator to organise removal of the body.

It is now Night 2 - Dawn in 24 Hours Night actions to me please.

Night 2

Remy LeBeau was certainly extra cautious after being attacked the previous night. He had change to a new room, seeing as the previous one had a large hole. He recalled the moment of when he was just about to die and how he had blasted Sabretooth across the room. He shuffled his pack of cards once more and thought deeply about his new powers. All the other mutants he had seen on TV and even Sabertooth seemed to have new names or at least codenames. He wondered if he should choose an alias. He shuffled his cards one more time and then began to place them around the edges of the room. He looked at all the cards and a wry smile crept along his face, ‘Gambit is an excellent name’ he thought. ‘Let’s see them try take on Gambit now…’

They were all highly polished and in good working order yet Bill Stryker checked his weapons for the third time. Bill had time to waste. There was a knock on the door. “Your early” Bill called out as he made his way to the door. He opened the door wide expecting a friend yet the figure that greeted him was not familiar. It reached out towards bills face, Bills eyes glossed over and his mind went all blank.

With another knock on the door, Bill awoke to finds himself lying on the floor of his room. He was quite groggy, and tried to sit up. “Bill… are you there” a voice at the door whispered followed by another knock. Bill pulled himself up on the coffee table and stumbled over to the door, “Whose there” whispered Bill. “Its me, Zane, who else...” and exasperated voice answered back. Bill opened the door much more cautiously this time and invited Zane in. Zane made his way to Bill’s weapon stash and choose an automatic shotgun. Zane loaded it full of shells and looked up at Bill “You ready?” he asked. Bill still a bit groggy answered back “Yeah, I guess. You find our targets room?” Zane replied in pained fashion “Of course.”

The Juggernaut sat on the bed staring at the wall, he had a curious feeling like a felt a bit light and fluffy which was at complete odds with his build. Piotr the night before would have never described The Juggernaut as light let alone fluffy. The Juggernaut shook his head and put on his Helmet. At once he felt more like himself, Indestructible. ‘Time to cause trouble’ he thought and he set off.

Bill Stryker and Donovan Zane heard a crashing sound up ahead, Zane turned the safety off on his weapon and proceeded forward. They came to a door to the main auditorium and heard the sound of splintering wood emit from under the cracks of the door. Bill placed his hands on the door handle. “3, 2, 1… Go” Zane kicked open the door and he hurried inside followed closely by Bill. Zane paused as he saw the size of the guy that was now in front of them. The Juggernaut was puzzled about which way he should go but the appearance of two armed men take his mind off such a complicated matter. “Looks like you boys are here for some fun” said the juggernaut as he charged at the stunned men. Bill shoulders his Carbine and took aim and pressed the trigger hard. He unleashed a whole clip towards the Juggernaut but the bullets seemed to bounce off. The two men separated in different directions as Juggernaut closed in, Zane fired off a few shots but it had no effect on the Juggernaut, he just kept on going and turned to follow Zane who was running away firing blindly behind him. Bill on the other hand reached for his grenade, pulled the pin and threw it at the Juggernaut. It exploded just as it made contact blowing up a cloud of dust and debris. Suddenly the Auditorium shook with a booming laughter, the dust started to settle and the Juggernaut was standing there looking pleased. “You think you can kill me” The Juggernaut laughed some more. “Me? Honestly, I am unstoppable!” Bill fell to his knees he felt all sweaty and his hands started to shake, his gun dropped to the floor and he threw up. “You that scared of me? I don’t have time to mess with puny human scaredy-cats like you.” and with that the Juggernaut took off and created his own exit in the audition wall. Zane ran towards Bill. “You alright there buddy?” and he helped Bill to his feet. Yeah, I… I just need a lie down I think…” Bill tried to regain his composure but Zane ended up carrying him all the way back to his room.

In the mean time, the Juggernaut finally figured out where his targets room was and barged inside. Jason Wyngarde stood against the wall in terror. He didn’t have any luck. “What are you doing, ya filthy Human?” roared the Juggernaut. Jason didn’t reply, in fact he didn’t even move. Whether this was because he thought the Juggernaut was a dinosaur and didn’t sense movement, noone knows. But it sure did confuse the Juggernaut. He picked up Jason and shook him. “Say something you runt!” but even this still didn’t loosen Jason’s tongue. The Juggernaut dropped Jason on the ground, he had lost all interest. He kicked Jason and sent him flying across the floor into a sofa, then promply left through another self created exit. Once the Juggernaut was out of ear shot, Jason finally spoke. “Why me?”

If anyone knew the reason perhaps it was Graydon Creed. He watched as the Juggernaut thundered through a few walls in the opposite direction. He even heard Jason Wyngarde exclaim "Why me?” It was a nice opportunity to present oneself thought Greydon, he stepped through the Juggernaut-made exit and confronted the dishevelled man. "This is just not your day is it?" Jason just sighed as Greydon approached him, chloroform in one hand and syringe in the other.

Jason was lucky nothing worse happened to him, unfortunately, this was not the case for Raven Darkhölme. She had minded her own business and kept a low profile, being a former counter-intelligence agent help with those things, of course. She was just biding her time waiting for an opportunity to collect another sample of Mutant DNA for her employers. Little did she know that she had attracted the attention of a mutant. Sabretooth never had any kindness, not even for his son and there certainly no compassion for Raven. It only took a few seconds for him to decide how he was going to kill her. He pinned her to the ground, and drew his face up to her neck, it was a very familiar smell, comforting almost. But the comfort only increased his lust for blood. He opened his mouth wide, bearing large fangs and bit down hard.

Senator Autolycus
walked into the Ravens room and saw the bloody remains on the ground; he closed his eyes and signalled for an aide. “Go find the Professor.” It did not take long for Professor Winston Hughes to arrive. He placed his hands on Ravens body and declared:
Spoiler :
Love (Raven Darkhölme) was Innocent.

Once morning broke Senator Autolycus gather everybody together in the Auditorium. “And once again we have an example of a savage mutant killing a poor human. No doubt the same mutant that tried to kill me! I will not stand for it! I call Professor Winston Hughes to reveal his mutant friends that are against the peace we seek.”

It is now Day 3: you have 48 hours to make accusations.

"I know your human friends aren't better than the mutants. I know that Bill Stryker (Choxorn) goes around at night trying to gun down people randomly. I know that he should be put down as fast as possible."

Well isn't that interesting. Indeed neither Senator Kelly nor Professor X has a monopoly on virtue here, but if Diamondeye is telling the truth, then one of our would-be murderers is known. And I see no reason why he would lie.

Feel like eating some bullets from your own gun, "Choxorn"?

And for future reference:
Spoiler :

Assuming he survives the vote.

Current Tally:

askthepizzaguy: 5 (Renata, choxorn, Camikaze, CCRunner, Autolycus)
TForge13: 1 (Diamondeye)
Pinman: 1 (Seon)
Renata: 1 (TheLastOne36)
TheLastOne36: 1 (rhawn)
j65536d: 1 (Winston Hughes)

He currently has exactly 50%. sprig, does that mean he lives or he dies?

alright then, Unvote: ATPG Vote: Choxorn

Figured I'd go for somebody without any votes

More random voting?

CCRunner for random voting.

sheesh dude, it's not like you're in any danger :crazyeye:

Not that it matters, but Diamondeye was voting for TForge, not CCRunner.

Hmm. All vote for different people at random so nobody gets lynched? I like that idea. I randomly vote Diamondeye.

I'm of the opinion we need to be decisive right about now-- TForge13. Either he's a bad guy hiding in inactivity, or he's a super busy student with obviously barely any time to devote to the game at the moment, and thus mostly a liability until his finals are over (which isn't for two weeks for me at least, don't know about him)

I agree with CCRunner. Tforge13 it is then, it's not like there's any better targets.

Current Vote Tally (EDIT: Sees rhawn's post below a few seconds after mine):

Tforge13: 6 (Diamondeye, Autolycus, CCRunner, j66536d, choxorn, rhawn)
Camikaze: 3 (askthepizzaguy, Renata, Seon)
Renata: 1 (Camikaze)
Nictel: 1 (TheLastOne36)
Diamondeye: 1 (Krill)

Not looking too good for you either, CCRunner. That is far too many references to one another to be random; and you both made the same easy accusation twice. I wouldn't expect such clumsiness necessarily, but it's too much to ignore. Would you please state your name for the rest of us?

I will not. If you wish to discuss my identity, I'd be more than willing to do so in private. That doesn't only apply to Renata if anyone is is suspicious about me.

Since choxorn seems to have been caught in the act, let him die.

Significantly later edit: I'll just point out that you voted for both candidates as well both times.
