MOAR Units Mod 1.2

@Nyper Thanks for this! Moar Units has already been translated into Russian, Chinese, German and French (partially). If you want to help translate all the game text into Spanish I've attached all the Text from all the Moar Units mods. Don't worry about the Civilopedia text unless you have the time - I know that is a lot. :D

Can anyone help me download this? I unzip and put it in the mod folder, check the box in the game, but when I get to the actual game the mod isn't activated.

I recommend you download it from Steam workshop if it is posible. You only need to click on subscribe button. (http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198000318185/myworkshopfiles/?p=1)
BTW: I'm busy this week, but tomorrow I'll have the spanish complete translation without the civilopedia. And I hope that the next week I'll have civilopedia translated too.

Do you have the right folder in your mods directory? It should be the MOAR_Units folder.

BTW: I'm busy this week, but tomorrow I'll have the spanish complete translation without the civilopedia. And I hope that the next week I'll have civilopedia translated too.

It is the MOAR_UNITS folder. I have no other mods or saves. (I deleted them)

Well, I think the spanish files are ready. Only 3 things:
1- I had to write the spanish conquistador (conqueror) name. (the 3 lines inside the red box). I dont know if you forgot it or I am missing something, but didnt found that lanes.

2- I didnt replace the language command (en_US) because I dont know the spanish tag (maybe es_ES ?). If you can't or dont want to change it just tell me the correct tag and I'll upload it again corrected.
3- As I said, I've only translated the ingame texts. The highlighted files. ASAP I'll translated the civilopedia files. probably take me a week to do it.

Well, I think the spanish files are ready. Only 3 things:

There's no need to updated LOC_UNIT_SPANISH_CONQUISTADOR_NAME. This is a base game unit not one added by the mod. The reason the _DESCRIPTION is there is because the bonus was reduced slightly from +10 to +9 by this mod.

Don't worry I can handle that. Find and replace! The code for Spanish is es_ES as you guessed.

BIG Moar Units 1.0 Update now live on Steam

5 New/Changed General Units:
----------------------------

Gatling Gun:
Industrial Era Anti-Cavalry unit. Upgrades from Pikeman, upgrades to AT Crew

Recon:
Modern Era Recon unit. Ignores rivers when moving and has no disembark cost. Upgrades from Ranger.

Sniper:
Atomic Era Ranged unit. Cannot move and attack on the same turn. Gains +12 Ranged strength vs. land units (exluding Heavy Cavalry). Gains +1 Range when on hills. Upgrades from Field Cannon.

Modern Sniper:
Information Era Ranged unit. Cannot move and attack on the same turn. Gains +12 Ranged strength vs. land units (exluding Heavy Cavalry). Gains +1 Range when on hills. Upgrades from Sniper.

Machine Gun:
Atomic Era Ranged Support unit (can stack with other units). +10 Combat Strength when defending.


3 New Unique Units
------------------

America - AH-64 Apache:
American unique Atomic Era Light Cavalry unit. +10 Combat Strength versus Heavy Cavalry units.

England - Ironside:
English unique Renaissance Era Heavy Cavalry unit available with the Reformed Church Civic. +5 Combat Strength in or adjacent to own territory and +5 Combat Strength when opponent is another religion.

Norway - Ulfhedinn:
Norwegian unique support unit available with the Mysticism Civic. Adjacent units receive +5 Combat Strength versus undamaged units and +5 Combat Strength versus damaged units. Yield 50% of defeated units' Combat Strength as Faith if combat is won within one tile.

All Civilisations now have 2 additional Unique Units.


3D Art Updates

French Gendarme now has custom helmets and 26(!) different shields designs (thanks to ChimpanG!).

The update seems to have broken my current game & Civ VI won't load with Moar Units at all. Ouch! I checked to see what mods were updated yesterday and removed them one at a time...Moar Units is the culprit. I can't even start new games with Moar Units loaded.

Update: Looks like I'll have to go through all my mods and see what is incompatible with Moar Units. I can start the game with no mods other than DLC and Moar Units. It will take time to figure this out.

noticed that u are in the last version of game - sometimes it affect on it..
other reason is maby this mod - moar is colliding with another mod - happens to me alot

Unsubscribe from the Steam version and download/install the 0.9 version from here then your save should load. Steam distribution doesn't work well for big mod updates. Some people get around it by copying all mods from Steam workshop content to local Mods directory. That way you can only take updates when you want them.

Yep, and +10 versus damaged units not matter what. And it applies to Naval Melee and Naval Ranged too.

Definitely strong and probably over-powered but Norway are perceived to be one of the weakest Civs so I thought I would start super strong and dial it back.
