So the doubled city border growth during WLTKD from my fealty finisher doesnt seem to trigger. the other two things seem to work, the 15% production and specialist happniness. Am i missing something or is this a bug?

It looks like after latest hotfix strategics were nerfed too much. In early game AI offer 1 gold for 2-3 iron or horses, at very best 2 gold for 3. Seems very low
Seing the same thing since last update. Best I have so far is 1:1 ratio.

Seems way to low.

Civ 5 keep crashing during around turn 450+. It is so annoying to keep loading civ 5 as it takes time to load up everytime it crashes. :(
Anyone facing this issue?
Playing on Deity, Epic speed, standard map size.

Try lowering your graphics settings. Unfortunately there are technical limitations because the game is 32 bit.

Can confirm the exe is giving a false positive under Avast too. But worry not people as that's all it is, a false positive. It happens sometimes :)

Anyway I finally got round to updating to latest version, excited to try it out. Early game yet but diplomacy is seeming more fluid already I'll probably throw in my 2 cents worth later in the game :)

Diety late game can be problematic due to the vast amount of units the AI churn out.
I dont play it myself but have watched others play diety and its always been a bit crash prone lategame but usually works on standard size maps.

Hmm, is anyone else experiencing your religion not spreading. Was no 2 to form a religion, picked Judaism and have added all reformation beliefs. Now I'm experiencing zero pressure from my religion save in my holy city (+20). Even a connected city 8 tiles away have zero pressure from my religion while it has e.g. +4 from orthodoxy which is roughly 20 tiles away and not connected to my city/cities. I use other mods, but these haven't been updated for a while, so the only theing that's changed since last game is CPP.

Indonesia is bugged. It messes up the monopoly of their unique luxuries.

I have 4 cities. 2 cities have pepper, 1 city has clove, and 1 city has nothing (another bug; it is an island with 3 land hexes and all 3 have some different resource in their hex so there is no room for the unique luxury but nevertheless the luxury should have been placed under the city but there is nothing under it so no unique luxury for the city at all).

Yet my monopoly on pepper is 50% instead of 100%. And as a result I am not having the +3 food on pepper due to 100% monopoly. Overall severely bugged Civ. Avoid.

Well, now you know the city tile has a lategame strategic resource.

It is not iron and it is not any animal (cattle, horse, etc). It could be uranium, coal, or aluminum but I can't confirm that as this is early game.

As for the monopoly issue I figured out what is going on. It is not really a bug but here is what happens.

To determine if you have a 100% monopoly or not the game looks how many plantations of pepper you have in all cities out of all raw peppers. If you have 2 plantation on 2 raw peppers, you have 100% monopoly. But if you have 1 plantation only and 1 raw pepper in the other city, this is a ration of 1/2 so monopoly drops to 50%. Once you construct a plantation in the second city, then 2/2 and 100% monopoly.

That is why I was confused why I have 50% monopoly with two peppers worldwide. Well one had a plantation the other was yet raw. So initially I had 100% monopoly, dropped to 50% when I found the second city, and then went to 100% again once I made the second plantation.

start up fire tuner and go into observer mode for a turn. All resources and the entire map will be revealed.

I have IGE instead. Turns out beneath the city there is uranium. So all hexes on this island had some resource so that why this Indonesian city had not any unique luxury. This is maybe something the devs might want to address. Maybe at least give a count of the unique luxury so that we can trade it or count towards monopolies.

Please report this on Github.

It's working as intended tho. He settled a city where there was no available land tile on which to plant the resource.

AVG and AVAST are the same product with different skins and names, they are owned by the same company (and should not be trusted with your data, as they will sell you data)

I've just played a series of games as Indonesia and this is really not that common. Indonesia has been a fun experience to play for me. Let us know if you have any other issues though.

hi all, (rather) long time lurker here. First of all, thanks a lot for the great mod.
I have played quite a few games on a version I got in April (sorry, not sure about the number), and then got the new one couple of weeks ago. I play on small maps on standard or epic speed, Pangaea or Fractal maps, if that's important. Used to be an Emperor/Immortal player in vanilla civ v.
I have read the entire thread, but might have missed something, so my apologies if something in my feedback has already been addressed here.

1. the new version has become way easier to play. Since april I was struggling on emperor (got wiped out few times) and feeling quite comfortable on king; now I played a few games on emperor and did not have any problems. In particular, it is easier now to take AI cities, to grab (early) wonders and not to lose units in wars. Not sure if this is good or bad, just an observation though.

2. The new tribute system is very interesting, but also confusing; e.g. should I take this 12 gold early on and miss on a few quests? There was a suggestion to limit the lowest tribute to 25%, and this would certainly help. Yet, sometimes I am able to bully a city-state with a single scout (although well-promoted). The situation where you explore the land, meet a new CS and they immediately agree to pay you feels a bit wrong (if you are not the world military #1).

3. another issue with tribute is that sometimes you can bully a cs as a quest for another cs, and then the effort you have to make to earn the bonus is way too small. One way to solve this is the change the CS quest to High Tribute only; another one is to reduce the corresponding bonus.

4. As I mentioned, it became way easier to capture Ai cities. In particular, I've seen a few times how a wounded AI unit was fleeing the city in the middle of the siege, which made the whole thing much smoother. I suppose there is some kind of AI logic evaluating the chances of keeping the city and when the chances are too low, it was trying to save units at least, but it makes no sense to a human player at all.

5. Has anyone else noticed that early wars with chariot archers are very easy? Like, if you happen to have those 4 horses next to your capital, and your flatland neighbour not, it's pretty much gg (if you want), especially if you park your spearmen on top of his mines so he can never finish those walls and you manage to get the Statue of Zeus. I mean, it is quite historical and maybe ok-ish game-wise because you don't have to fight, but sometimes the temptation is just too strong. So you go for it, and of course this means you ignore the shrine, miss a religion, your other neighbour settles the sweet spot for which you are going to go into another war etc, so the playstyle spectrum gets somewhat limited.

6. On the 'capturing the civilians' modifier: in one game I tried to max exploit the worker capture strategy, and did not see this modifier until very late. So based on my experience, the issue is close to non-existing.

7. When you move the great diplomat into a CS territory to build an embassy, sometimes this option is greyed out and the tooltip says, can't build an embassy on top of a strategic resource (even if this resource is not yet discovered). not sure if anything can be done about it though.

Regarding the monopoly, it is okay I figured it out. Disregard.

The luxuries spawn missing in rare islands with hexes having already a strategic resource is an issue to me. Because even vanilla Civ5 gives you at least a count of a luxury in case it spawns under a city. Therefore this should be the case in these situations as well.

I found another issue and don't know why. I conquered a city and it again has no unique luxury. Maybe this is intended or another case of identical problem because the conquered city again is an island (but has a free hex, could be late game strategic resource spawn though). So the issue is not so rare at all especially on naval maps.
