Not bad but something to get used on this version. Locked specialists are more "fluid" than they once were. If you lose pop you may lose it from the specialist slot, or when you are moving things around the governor may pull from your specialist if you want to get a spot instead of moving around terrain.

Argh, really want to get back to VP but seems not the right time... :(

What the most stable version to this date in VP regulars' opinion, please?

Everyone have the delegate bug on github? If not i would start a new game... :)

Edit: Nvm, could not wait anyway :D Got some random non reproducable crashes in 5-19.

I played 3-2 for awhile. Honestly, may be worth waiting a bit. The new espionage system is very promising (no more 'stealing' a great piece of music) some things just need to get worked out.

Datapoint: Just noting that even with the distress reduction, there is still plenty of unhappiness to go around. This is a 4 city but with very high growth (coastal plus God of the Sea), and I'm definitely having to stay capped to keep happy even with my 5 luxs.

This is not a complaint, I think this position is reasonable, and my happiness isn't in the toilet, its just curbing my growth and expansion at the moment. I will say that the removal of local unhappiness production penalties IS A GODSEND!!!!

Yeah the happiness seems somewhat harder

Honestly the start, dfficulty level, and your pantheon makes a tremendous difference. I actually abandoned that game and started a new one with Stars and Sky (on emperor because I'm a wimp and tired of losing on Immortal!). I have 7 cities, growth uncapped....and at 75% unhappiness with no local unhappiness in any of my cities. god its marvelous!

For those curious about the logging, there is a new log called instantyields.

Here is an example:

Contains just the kind of details I want, its a good log. I think there may be one error wtih this "Yield JFD loyalty" but other than that its ready to be put to some use!

That yield is used for CS influence.

Would it be possible to add more info for distress in the city view, something like (Increase food by=x Increase production by=x) instead of them being combined

Tried the hotfix

After a city grows to 2 pop, the city-tile itself no longer contributes food or production. Anyone else getting this?

I just checked my cities and the food count is fine (I'm using 5-19, which is what I assume you refer to as the hotfix). Though, I am surprised how quickly unhappiness due to isolation kicks in. I thought it only happened at 5:c5citizen: or higher, but I already have it in a 3:c5citizen: city.

Not this specifically, but there is a bug currently that workers cannot access certain tiles to work. Its possible that on occasion this effects the city tiles, though I haven't seen that yet myself.

So the 19th patch is really difficult, right? Just saw Babylon reach classical era on turn 41 with 4 social policies.

Reinstalling fixed it. Thanks for the responses.

Yes. AI policy / techs early are just stupid. Turn 45 Great Library. Hanging Gardens consistently gone my mid 60s.

ok, thanks for the warning. I will wait for a HotFIX or a new version, whichever comes first.

On the flipside I've been getting the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus and Petra in most games on Deity despite taking my time. I also spawned next to a Hiawatha who took forever to grab his first policy (I wanted to see if he was going authority or not), like over 30 turns on epic. Most wonders are completely out of reach though.
