NHL CFC Playoffs Pool III

Bah! Stupid Detroit

Lets go Devils! Let Ottawa know why you have 3 cups and they have none!

The Sedin line is good, after that it is meh. Not bad but not great. The Canucks are a mediocre team with a fantastic goalie.

Have you seen any Canucks games this year? If you had, you'd know there is no such thing as a "Sedin line," only those players that happen to be on the same line as the twins on any given night, sometimes multiple players within a single game. Statistically speaking, secondary scoring shouldn't be a problem. The Canucks had four 20 goal scorers in the regular season, plus three defencemen with at least 30 points. For a majority of their games this year, they have outplayed the opposition. It's just sheer bad luck that they aren't higher in the standings. A fantastic goaltender is only part of that equation.

What a defensive game!

Good thing, Rangers are still in this series.

Yes I have watched the Canucks this season. The Sedin line is the Sedins plus whoever they are playing with, simple no? I am pathalogically incapable of giving objective analysis of the Canucks in the same but opposite way as you.:D

Ah yes, I forgot. We're your biggest rival. :p

THE OCTOPUS SHALL FALL IN THE HELL THAT IS CALLED 'California'

New Jersey 0 @ Ottawa 2 OTT leads series 2-1
Detroit 1 @ San Jose 2 SJ leads series 2-1

For the next week I will be in southern Ontario without internet access, so I will be making a whole list of predictions, just in case Round 3 starts.

(1)Buffalo 4 vs. (2)New Jersey 3
(1)Buffalo 2 vs. (4)Ottawa 4
(2)New Jersey 4 vs. (6)NY Rangers 1
(4)Ottawa 4 vs. (6)NY Rangers 1

(1)Detroit 3 vs. (2)Anaheim 4
(1)Detroit 4 vs. (3)Vancouver 2
(2)Anaheim 3 vs. (5)San Jose 4
(3)Vancouver 2 vs. (5)San Jose 4

well, well, well, it looks like we've got ourselves a series in the Empire State.

Yup. I expected a fight, though. :p

I will be honest, I haven't caught a single minute of that series: are the Rangers playing sound, honest hockey?

The Rangers outplayed Buffalo in 3 games but won 2. The last game got Buffalo fans crying over a ruled 'no goal' from Toronto.

The Rangers are behaving themselves (for the most part). Buffalo is getting away with a few things.

Mediocre? No way. They've been playing mediocre in a few playoff games, but they're a very strong team.

'Nucks up 2-0!

Don't worry, they'll come back. It's the twelve year cycle, this is the Canucks' 36th season.
