NHL CFC Playoffs Pool III

Ah yes, I forgot. We're your biggest rival. :p
I was going to post with feeling until I saw the :p smile.:p
Without Bertuzzi, Ruutu and Brian Burke my dislike of the Canucks is lukewarm at best, it is only the delusional fans and Matt Cooke that make it any kind of rivalry.:p Most of my hate right now is for the Ducks.

Northstars - Blackhawks, now that was a real rivalry. People from Chicago use to drive 6 hours just to start fights in bars next to the Met Center. Imagine that happening these days.

I have a confession to make. I have stepped foot inside Joe Louis Arena. I wish I didnt. While I WAS wearing an avalanche jersey and hat, I did go to Detroit, and that is inexcusable:wallbash: :trouble:.

GO SAN JOSE!
GO ANAHEIM! MDoA AD for the series!

CALIFORNIA TO THE FINALS!

OTTAWA vs ANAHEIM SC FINALS! (they are BOTH making it to the semi's)

CUP TO OTTAWA!

ME TO CRASH PARADE AND BRING IT TO TORONTO FOR THE FIRST TIME (other than in the vault) SINCE 1967!

Hate to be a broken record, but:

Bah! Stupid Detroit...

Blown call, Niedermayer elbowing Hansen, what a riff...

And yes, thanks to CBC streaming games free without ads, I watched the entire game while putting up with glacial internet speeds here in Bangkok.

:woohoo: Ducks in 5 games!!!!!!!!!!! Some nice points for me there!!!

Now if only Detroit could kill the sharks in 6 games!

Same here, Ottawa is making me mad though.

At least the Canucks made the playoffs.

The only 24 cups in Montreal this year were in the Habs' jockstraps.

Seriously Pasi, I wasen't saying that because I cheer that the 'nucks are eliminated, Im saying this because I made points in the pool.

I forgot I have to add :p  :D :) ;) ad nauseum if I'm making a joke, otherwise someone might take it too seriously.

Maybe monkey see monkey do and you'll be next?

Sorry ..... Im not feeling top shape today and I probably reacted too fast.

Yeah a smiley would of helped but anyhoo no bad feelings. :)

Well, all is good then.

But these things happen when Europeans lead teams. European hockey has little of the grit and heart, so how Europeans can be captains is beyond me. Markus Naslund is a great player, but not a leader and useless when not scoring goals (ie all this past season). I'd say give the C back to Trevor Linden, but the Canucks will probably decide to go in a younger direction, him being 37 and all.

The Canucks have lots of payroll to shed (Brendan Morrison, $3.1 million for 1 goal in 12 playoff games). But he's still got one year left on his contract.

Seriously, I'm gonna kill me an octopus before long

Damnit! You just said it!

But since it was just a strong implication, the meteor will just be a glancing blow.

That was sort of a let down, somehow.

Beating Atlantic Division teams is as easy as scoring with a drunk college girl, so I'm rooting for the Rangers to come back against Buffalo.

I was under the impression that you wanted the Senators to face the best team (Buffalo) on their way to the Cup, not an easy adversary from the Atlantic division. Getting scared? :mischief:
