Its become somewhat commonplace to use it on talk radio these days on the Fan, as they are Alfredsson, Spezza, Heatley. No one could hold a candle to the AMP line though (Alex, Milan, Peter).

and creative names have gone way down since the "original" six. Back then we had "Apple Cheeks" – Harry Lumley, "Beetle-Brow" – Lorne Chabot, and "Broadway" – Roger Jenkins.

Now we have "Aebi" - David Aebischer, "Auldy" – Alex Auld, "Super Joe" – Joe Sakic, and "Super Mario" - Mario Lemieux, as well as the great one, the next one, the good one (Keith, not wayne), and the Grate one (esa tikkanen)

Too bad that few people got to see it because those ****s at NBC cut away after regulation to show the warmup to the ******* Preakness, a good two hours before the damn horse race was about to start. WGAF about the warmups to horse races? Ended up having to watch it on Versus, which is somewhat like what ESPN was 20 years ago.

That's odd. It must have been an affiliate by affiliate decision. The Birmingham affiliate went to the Preakness during the third intermission, but came back for the whole OT . . .

For Det/Ana yes. We decided not to allow your Ottawa pick because at the time it was already 3-0 for Ottawa, so there really isn't any way to prove if you really thought they would win. While I doubt you would lie like that, if we allowed that then it would leave it open for others to try to abuse in the future.
