None Shall Pass [Game Thread - Concluded]

Because I don't trust private communications that come out of the blue asking me for my thoughts.

I'm not arguing whether it was a good or bad vote, just that it was a likely path of little resistance.

You can say you have nothing to share, or nothing to tell. The weird thing is, you didn't reply.

How else is it suppose to come? Am I supposed to warn you in advance that I would be contacting you?

Fair enough then.

I responded to as many PMs from you as I have every other person in this game combined.

Being day/night 3, and having next to no contact/conversation with you, I find it a bit strange that you want all my thoughts in private when I've been fairly active (or at least I've thought I've been fairly active) in the thread.

Like it or not, this is a game that has a lot of things going on in the background. Not wanting to participate in that is odd, and strikes me as someone who doesn't want to engage because they may have something to hide.

vote: azzaman

I have something to hide? That's why I've done almost everything publicly right?

Don't think I've forgotten about your PM unvote; vote: BSmith1068. I'm almost certain that either you or Visorslash tried to kill me last night, and that the attempted killer is cultist.

My role block on Visorslash last night failed. Either he isn't a male character, or some other ability interfered.

Azza, tut tut, very bad form to return the vote like that, scummy behavior. Speaking of scummy does anyone else see red flags when a certain mozzarella and pepperoni chap hangs around at dawn trying to guide a bandwagon? Posts edited private PMs and crucifies someone when they privately ask questions? I've made no counter claims to Buddafish - I simply asked if there was any proof to his public claim, IMO claiming a mason to dead innocent is very fishy and requires some proof, other than word of a potential scum. (No offense Budda).

@ATPG It is not my fault you have published my private correspondence, that much is plain. Dumanois questioned your loyalties and look what happened to him - at least show a little remorse that your (mistakes?) (deliberate actions?) led to the blood of an innocent on your hands.

My biggest issue with your conduct is that you have stated publicly that Visorslash is a cultist yet when we were having our PM chat you were in IM contact with him, sharing my information - YOU SHARED MY PRIVATE INFORMATION IN REAL TIME WITH A SUSPECTED CULTIST - hardly the conduct of an innocent townie. Your release of my PM seems to be to work of a cultist trying to set an agenda, create a wagon, desperate to focus the public against anyone but yourself. Your public role as town crier seems similar to previous strategies of hiding plain sight, demanding players role info via blackmail and extortion, yet never sharing anything of yourself.
Town needs a leader but, I question the wisdom of allowing you to lead a pony let alone a whole town.

Sprig - We both knew kenngit role info that night, I didn't betray him - was it you? Your voting patterns are odd to say the least, any easy wagon ammiright?
Arakhor - I don't smell of Roses as i'm not a lady, brew yourself a nice cuppa and relax with the sunday papers or perhaps your favourite book by L Ron Hubbard.

I sent that same PM to at least 7 others at the same time, as I am sure they can contest. Odds are not minimal that one of them were attacked. I think you are being a little too paranoid here, or do indeed have something to hide. So how about a response to the PM?

You lurk in a mafia game, I'm not even going to waste time voting for you, I'm going to do what?

Call for you to be vigged.

Which I did, PUBLICLY. I said Dumanios and Verarde needed to die.

Not even one peep out of his mouth later, he's dead via vigilante. He deserved it, and he was simply begging for it.

DO NOT LURK IN A MAFIA GAME AS A MASON.

I don't show remorse.

That was a policy vig, and it's still a good policy. Behaving in a way that is counterproductive for town and excellent for scum ---> Death.

It's like when people say kill Pizza before end of game. It's the lazy way to cover one's ass without having to think about things too hard.

I'm SW, dude. Visorslash can't even be on my team if I'm a cultist, or he was. And I'll get to why I'm still working with Visor in a sec.

You're silly for thinking that trying to accuse someone besides myself is strange behavior. Should I sit here and accuse myself?

I don't win by lynching me. :p This is true as town or scum.

Your public role as town crier seems similar to previous strategies of hiding plain sight, demanding players role info via blackmail and extortion, yet never sharing anything of yourself.

 I've asked maybe three people in this game about their role.

The others, came to me allllllllllllllllllllllllll on their own.

Everyone, and their mother, and their father, knows I'm Mace Windu.

I have also shared my ability when asked.

In fact, I was the first guy to admit which team I was on.

I don't know what you're smoking, but keep it up, mason friend. Once again, I cannot understand for the life of me, what you're thinking or doing or how it's in any way conducive to a town victory.

I wish the masons in this game had been randed to people who knew in the slightest how to play that role.

Town needs a leader but, I question the wisdom of allowing you to lead a pony let alone a whole town.

I'm hardly leading. Visorslash is the one leading this entire town, and frankly,

It's too late to turn back now.
I believe I believe I believe you'd better hope he's not cult.

Your entire faction is in ungodly deep jar-jar if he is cult. He knows who everyone in this game is at this point, where all the super duper roles are, and he is the one who has been running around asking people for data and threatening people AND IT WORKED.

At this point, my advice is to grab your butt cheeks and squeeze 'em tight and hope he's not behind you about to make them his personal plaything.

And finally,

Someone is preventing Slashy boy from even turning into a cultist. So unless he started as one, he's still a better town leader than you.

*pizza drops his microphone, and gives the peace out sign*

Also, just in general, @ everyone- if you've said anything to me in this game, I've probably talked to Visorslash about it.

He's not only one of your more brilliant mafia players of all time, but he also happens to be online when I am and has skype.

I've set up quicktopics and stuff with other people I've wanted to work with closely, and not much activity. Not belittling your efforts, just pointing out, I want to have a close relationship and I get a pen pal, so I am pretty much forced to work with Visor.

I've been looking for other people to form a close "let's get the scumbags" relationship with but unfortunately or fortunately depending on your point of view, Visorslash has been easily the most productive and sense-making person in this game and has been available to brainstorm with me pretty much the entire time.

Even when I think he's potential scum, he's too valuable a resource/player to ignore. I was all set to wash my hands of him and walk away, but if the LOTR side is deliberately preventing him from being converted, once again, I'm going to continue to bet on that pony. Follow Visorslash to victory has demonstrated to be the winning plan in most of the games I've played with him since August, and that's counting 3 other forums we play on together.

Other obvious people to work with (choxorn) I am deliberately just letting them do their thing. Unlike Visor, I don't have a doctor man protecting me from conversion. So I just have to cross my fingers that Samuel L Mace snakes on a plane Windu Jackson is either incorruptible by default or slices in half anyone who comes to convert him at night.

In the meanwhile, it's better for me not to know the intimate machinations of the pro-town network LOTR has going on. I don't need to know who the doctor is, I don't need to know who Aragorn is, I don't need to know who choxorn is rendering incorruptible at this point.

And I'd appreciate it if I wasn't told.
