It's not "your side's" cult. It is the cult which wants to destroy SW town above all else. That is their primary victory condition. How could that possibly be okay with you? You lose no matter what if you're incorruptible SW and don't go after your cult, and if you're regular SW, just giving in might not end up with you winning anyway because they kill you for being inactive and useless. Plus it's poor sportsmanship and really freaking meta.
Didn't the vast majority of LOTR kinda help with that? Hell, Pizza wouldn't even be dead if we never said he was cult.

I was on that vote against Atpg. We as the Star Wars town have lynched a member of the Star Wars cult. Lotr has yet to lynch a cultist.

It doesn't really matter what color the platter is, Atpg (a cultist) is still dead. There are no lotr cultists dead.
The only person who ever tired to lotr cult hunt was [gasp] Atpg! Given another day or two I'm sure he would've handed Sauron to you on a diamond encrusted platter.

Given that ATPG was busy trying to persuade everyone that Azzaman was Sauron, I'd have to say that, no, he wouldn't have done. You can brag about being one SW cultist down all you like, but you may recall that it was LotR that did that. If we hadn't voted for Pizza, he'd still be up and running around.

Well that's false. I went after Visorslash saying Aragorn was cult-killer a couple of days back and almost got myself mislynched instead.
And that's just the public attempts. I have no idea what's been going on behind the scenes.

As to a possible LOTR cultist, I would go with Taki being Sauron, and I would be up for a Taki lynch as better than a Visor lynch, though as I have said, BL has basically claimed cult in thread

Again, nothing is stopping us from hunting the SW cult once Aragorn/SK with Aragorn cover role that really really likes LOTR is dead. Heck, if we assume that roles are mirrored then Anakin is likely an SK too, so we'll have to kill him anyway if Visor is revealed as an SK.
How are you going to cult-hunt if you're busy lynching us in immaculately partisan fashion? The cults don't need to kill people, they can still vote like everyone else and SW Cult appears to be able to night-kill as well.
