[NOT IN DEVELOPMENT] DOC Community Mod Compilation

AI Babylonia no longer settles the tile 1S of Shush before it has a chance to spawn.

Assyria now starts with Smelting, no more sitting around 6 turns until you can start building a capable army.

NEW UPDATE

Hanging Gardens no longer have increased production from Marble.

Babylonia won't build the Hanging Gardens or Library of Ashurbanipal before Assyria spawns.

Hanging Gardens require Divination again

It's probably just me but being able to meet all 3 Assyrian UHVs is impossible! This time I got 1 and 2 (though I had to reload because Egypt kept beating me to the Hanging Gardens) only to realize I had a bunch of buildings to build that I didn't even have the techs for yet despite beelining :crazyeye:

Okay, looks like I may have to either boost Assyrian science or change the building requirements. Could you post the save of your most recent game? I'd like to see what techs you have, your income, etc.

Don't forget to edit the Assyrian Dawn of Man text to reflect their new start ;)
Will do

Could it be possible to add which tiles are counted in UHV1, just like in DoC. I truly don't know where Elam and Uratu are...
Uratu is by the Iron and Horses to the North, and Elam is Shush. Adding the UHV names to the tiles is my current goal.

What do the returned numbers in CvScreensInterface getUHVTileInfo mean?

Each number x maps to a text key TXT_KEY_UHV_TILE_INFO_x (or similar, not sure).

NEW UPDATE

Added Egyptian and Assyrian UHV Region Identifiers.

Fixed Urartu's name.

AI Babylonia currently seems to have far too fast of a Tech Rate, leading to Assyria's building of their Wonders being largely up to the RNG of whether or not Babylonia went for Writing or Construction. I am currently reviewing the AI modifiers in order to return balance to the game. Currently going to try and make all existing civs roughly equivalent to the Greeks when they spawn, and make slight adjustments according to historicity* from there.

*I have zero idea of what would be historical in terms of Techs.

Worse! He built on Ninua!

I think i know why: You may have put the requirements to have Coast in the city cross, not on having coast access.

I will look on it, it never happened in my games. It also requires fish, so I'm amazed Babylonia managed to fullfill a;; the requirements.

but starting with THREE goals failed is silly.
Also, bring back 8 STR Legions :'(

As I told never happened in my games. Legion having 8 strength seems to strong to me. 6 strength is still the strongest melee in classical era, and their free promotion to help them in conquering mediterranean is better.

Yeah, I'll get on that right away. @citis didn't even respond to my comments asking him to revert it. :(

Sorry, I saw my code and I haven't seen any trace. I base my code solely on origin/develop, i.e. the official mod.

On side note: Always glad to see new civs in the game.

The 300 AD scenario commit included Leoreth's new resource mod, I've checked the change in code is the same.

The issue with the oracle was that Ninua is on a tiny lake, if you add the tag "<iMinAreaSize>20</iMinAreaSize>" it will be limited to bodies of water that boats can be built in. You wouldn't even need to have it require Fish, which IMO is a pretty silly requirement.

Babylonia gets a free tech each time it researchs a tech (4 x). That is huge in the beginning. The modifiers are probably not the problem. :-)

Good point. Perhaps their UP should be replaced with something a bit more spread out or outright not tech oriented. Not sure what though.

EDIT: Considering how many flip zones Babylon and Akkad's historical territory is within (Assyria, Phoenicia, and Arabia) perhaps they could have "The Power of the Model Empire: contested cities owned prior to 2200 BC produce no occupation unhappiness or resistance when captured. This references Sargon of Akkad's legacy as a model ruler within Mesopotamia, to a point of near godhood. The dude is known for putting down a huge number of rebellions, innovating new methods of warfare that were in use for over 500 years, developing the first postal system, and building the world's first empire.

I'm getting a weird error on a 3000 BC Egypt start. If I decide not to take control of Greece when they spawn, all the info at the very top left and right of the screen disappears (gold, turns played, etc.), and "classical era" flashes over and over. If I try to access the save menu I get a ctd!

Edit: When I discover a tech, everything goes back to normal. But once I end my turn everything bugs out again.

Edit X 2: Seems to be randomly switching between one turn of non-bugged and other turns of buggyness.

Will check now.

EDIT: I can't open this file. Game crashes the instant I try to load it.

Try these. Maybe a corrupted install?
