That piece of theater, makes a mockery of your previous comments, you've both been filp-flopping on your votes as you were sat on a beach, throwing mud and hoping it will stick. If we look back at your voting patterns then we can see some interesting choices, who better than an inactive Bsmith to lynch. When Darth escaped the lynch he mysteriously died, couldn't get him on vote so you off'd him overnight, I cannot imagine that he had dirt on one of you so perhaps you were after his mana?

I would like to emphasize this, in light of Choxorn's point on manas being destroyed.

The case on BL is based on an error, or on a deliberate lie.

Evening Four​

The Day ended with Kennigit the Illustrious Illusionist, flashing his Earth Mana Orb at everybody. No one quite knew why. It was no bigger or more impressive than any of the other mana orbs they had seen but nether-the-less it was flashed around. There was something quite special about this night and it wasn’t the flashing of a Green Orb. What was special was the sound of agreement, which was all too rare in this chamber and certainly so over the past four days. In this particular case, the sound of 'agreement' took the form of KingMorgan the Mystical Magician pleading for her life as five of her fellow mages stood around her with their arms stretched out and finger tips glowing with magical death.

Now that was disappointingly done with, the Firemage claimed the first Raw Mana Orb and the Conjurer picked up the second. A single Air Mana Orb was found on the body of the Deceased Magician, but that would go up for vote the next day. Hopefully the Mages would start piecing together what was going on here because their numbers were quickly dwindling.

Morning Five​

The Fanatical Firemage was particular loud this morning. She roused everyone out of bed with an urgency. Once they had all woken and joined her she started to explain her urgency. “I think I know who is responsible, I know how they are doing it. That world spell, and it wasn’t what we thought. Instead the Dark Mage Sprig has trapped our….” She paused. She couldn’t seem to get her words out. A look of horror crept onto her face. She reached into her clothing and brought out a Fire Mana Orb. She stared it in horror as it cracked and then broke apart into tiny fragments. The Fragments dropped from her hand like glittering stars. Soon the Firemage was falling with them and she collapsed on the ground to never move again. However, a shade of the former Firemage rose up out of the body, it looked just as the former druid had done and just like the druid faded into nothingness.

Well, turns out the body of the Firemage she did move again. The council members flipped over her corpse to loot her body. Another Fire Mana Orb was discovered. It was only then they noticed that another council member was missing. The Warlock almost always threatening one council member or another. But this morning they were denied the usual offer to have their entrails expelled and fed to goats. So the council members went hunting and discovered her body.

Two Raw Mana were found on the body of the Warlock but one of the Raw Mana orbs shattered into useless fragments. The council looked at the other waiting for it to share the same fate but it stayed whole. So it would got up for the vote with the Fire and Air Mana.

The council was now down to less than half their starting number. Panic was now starting to set in.

If Backwards Logic is also innocent, I'll buy a hat and eat it. All of his suspects are innocent and tend to die quickly and he's very aggressively going after them- I've never known him to be both so wrong and so successful at getting the people he wants dead to die when he was town, and then there's everything that happened between him, Winston, and KM yesterday. All the signs point to him being mafia.

I still think Kennigit's either insane or mafia, but Backwards is certainly not insane, and I'm almost certain he's mafia.

though it is highly possible the visceration wouldn't require an active kill or something, I'm a really good mage but some magic even I can see is not some parlor trick but the real deal.

The question is, what jerk of a scum is going to be hoarding orbs (recall winston could scan for orbs) because, as we all know*, that is the victory condition for the scum

Alright, yeah, sup everyone? Things totally are cool, yeah just had to go take care of this one thing real fast.

So anyways, where were we?

you know, I uh, well, I did this trick with this one thing and now I have to, uh, you know, put it back together again. Anyone really good with sewing? Or you know, maybe experience giving stitches would help. But it's definitely something related to sewing and not stitches, I'm just ballparking ideas of what might be helpful.

The Necromancer almost always made sure she was noticed least other people lose the chance to admire her skill. But this morning they were deinied that opertunity as they discovered her body.

((Okay, totally confused. Writeup indicates I'm dead, but Winston's name is written in instead of mine and his sprite is used, plus I don't have two Raw Mana Orbs on me, only a fire orb which I mentioned earlier. Totally lost and confused here)).

We have to assume by now that something is maliciously targeting wizards' mana! I really don't think that now is a good time to be revealing even more about our mana in the thread!

So you'll forgive me I hope for answering KingMorgan's question from just before his death like this: I did have two mana. They were of different types. I no longer have two mana.

A scum could win by hoarding orbs, and gaining strength, but a scum can also win by obliterating all the other wizards, and if there are going to be two kills a night instead of one, I know which one my money is on.

We need to stop fumbling and fimbling around with mana and make the right lynches, right now.

It is time for that ancient wizarding ritual known as 'thread reread day'. But before that I will vote once again for Kennigit, even though I was wrong about KingMorgan. Kennigit - you need to clearly state to the thread who your top scum lead/s is/are, and why, without being confusing or trying to get Earth mana. Even if it's choxorn, because so far choxorn has had a pretty easy ride because he's been able to say "whatchoo talkin' bout Kennigit" to every accusation made of him!

The thaumaturge trips over the bodies of Backwards Logic and Winston Hughes on her way out of the room. She briefly wonders which one of them is dead, and which one just slept in. Shaking her head, she mutters about the more corpulent wizards' tendency to begin to rot while still alive. It really muddies the waters in situations like this.

Catharsis, how could you have had two mana? As far as I know, innocents started out with one mana. You were never voted a mana. Thus, you either started with two (a sign that you are probably not a normal innocent) or were given one. Its likely that scum would be the only ones who trust each other enough to give mana behind the scenes, especially since private communication is prohibited.

Ok, so Winston was the one who died. Catharsis still needs to explain himself, but Backwards Logic now also looks extremely suspicious, given that everyone who has ever opposed him is now dead.

I would be happy to see either of them hang today.

This is inherently not true, as two mana orbs were found on Darth Feather, and there's no way he could have acquired them outside of the thread because the rule change allowing it hadn't taken effect yet.

I fully expect to be lynched today, to be honest. Problem is I'm town and the evil dudes know this. If I'm scum, killing Winston after KM got lynched puts the spotlight solely on me which let's face it, isn't good for business. If I leave him alive, I have a viable alternative for lynch today as the consensus among a few of you is that one of KM, Winston and/or BL is scum.

He was a good target for the actual scum team - it lines up the lynch on me. However, choxorn is definitely scum. We have the writeup snafu by Sprig, yet he's concretely going after me. Won't even consider Winston's alive - he's innocent. It's like he already knows who's really dead with his opening comment despite everything being mixed up. Oh, and by the way, he's one of the ones that subscribed to the 'one of KM/Winston/BL is scum theory.' Lynch KM, kill Winston, lynch the guy who looks the most like scum and make a case pointing that out in no uncertain terms. So he's one of them, ladies and gentleman.
