I think the core of the problem is this statement is not what I said nor what I agree with.
I don't agree Takhisis is pro-town, is the problem. He's been acting rather anti-town for a while with multiple votes against townies. A vote against a Chronomancer makes it less likely he is the remaining Chronomancer, true, and for that matter Yoshi voted against the Chronomancers too, but Takhisis could still even be a demon as far as I know. Romanic was acting anti-town and he was revealed as a non-town faction, so even if Takhisis is his ally, what exactly do we know then?
Though the town can certainly blunder our way through this even if we do things wrong, it's worth the caution not to go blindly trusting a non-town faction. Especially if they want to keep secrets and not be open with the town anyway. The Order are known for ruthlessness, perhaps they want to kill off even harmless villagers they deem as evil by their religion and they won't stop until that goal is accomplished too.
(For that matter Harkonnen, your own position is a bit tenuous. Are you really implying you are not an ally of Romanic, in which case you don't actually know what the motivations of this non-town group are, or are you with them after all? But then you surely can't pretend you don't know what Romanic's item did?)
I will be clear it seems good and easy enough to me to eliminate the demons and Chronomancers first still - but if Takhisis won't claim anything I don't even have a sure reason to think he's not a demon, if he is non-town he's certainly more dangerous than many of the inactive/lurkers, and we don't have a better guaranteed lynch today.
On one other matter of principle, if nobody will ever claim anything because they could be pro-town doing stuff at night, then we'll get nowhere fast. That doesn't just go for Takhisis, but at this point it's hardly too early for anybody to share something. I believe the town will have a strong advantage if we can get more claims out of more people, given our numbers and the number of scum dead, rather than the other way around.
I don't see much of a counter to Yoshi's lynch in actual events though, guess that's going through. Would be absolutely great if he could provide a real defense if he has one but that's his concern. He's lurkery enough that he could be just about anything else and for process of elimination I can't say he's the worst lynch.
I will say if he's town we have a lot of problems in the follow up the next day though. Landlubber's vote is just really bad, we have no clue of what to discuss when there are seemingly three non-town factions out there and we are this far in? robbiecon made an apparently false claim about having scanned momo that was contradicted by others, and just drop it entirely to bandwagon on Yoshi, I think robbiecon should say what he actually knows or did.
The Archaeologist does have a good point in one sense. Maybe we could get out of all this much sooner if things were more out in the open.
(We almost never do mass role claims in NOTW, but they can be effective, and at least right at the moment (that storm worries me) we'd appear to be in a position of power. Today's lynch is fine, but let's see how things look tomorrow.)

I am not a Chhronomancer, nor am I a demon, silly. how many times do I have to say that?
Have I Mentioned I am a dwarf today?

That doesn't go just for me, right. It goes for you as well. Will you ever even attempt to prove Innocence on your own behalf, given that you're taking this 'You're scum until proven otherwise' approach? Ah, sorry, it's nonsense to ask you to prove your Innocence, I forgot.

Takhisis, it's publicly proven I'm not a Chronomancer nor Demon and Harkonnen will tell you I'm not his and Roman's ally, but you probably don't even need to ask as you're with him. Plus people who need to know even more about me already do.
As for Yoshi, he refuses to give the scantest defense of himself. If he's town it'll be disappointing but some of our bandwagonners are suspects anyway and we should have time to follow up. I would prefer other lynches, that's true, but he's not on the list of sure townies for process of elimination and the bandwagon is huge, so there's not much to be done.

I'm not playing dumb, I missed a lot of posts with the blackout and I'm in no condition to read through a couple pages just to find your one textwallian defense.
Dust blew over the edges of the town, and several factions had gathered, yelling at each other. Amidst the chaos, the Archaelogist Earthling seemed to be the biggest instigator. As the feverish wind reached a peak, the Knight stepped forward with a sudden hostility in his gait and with a quick and sudden motion plunged a sword into Earthling's heart, golden energy surging over it.
His brow furrowed and he growled, raking the Knight's face with supernaturally sharp claws, sending Harkonnen backwards. Advancing on him, he pulled the sword from his chest and held it above his assailant, speaking loudly to be heard over the wind.
"I knew you would not listen, unhelpful wretch, but I was unaware you were out to kill me for my truths. Die now, Chronomancer!" he screamed, characteristic sharpened teeth glinting as he raised the blade.
But with a blur of motion, gripping the walking staff in hand, the Porter Takhisis snapped it in half and thrust the sharpened splinter through the torso of the Archaelogist. Instantly the sword clattered to the ground as the vampire turned to ashes with a final scream, ending the threat mere moments before disaster.

Footsteps could be heard in the distance, and the Explorer Yoshiegg could be seen running from the crowd. With his lead, it was clear that nobody would catch him. Shaking his head, Takhisis announced with surety that "...by my dwarven bones, he'll be consumed by the storm. Let him run."
That night, they all slept fitfully, fully expecting the time shifts to continue. But tonight was not like any other night. Tonight misfortune was Hajii's specialty, and in one particularly important Inn Room, the Tanner Aiolos succumbed to a latent heart condition during his sleep. It was this death that sealed the fate of the small village, as...
