If we outlaw firing pins then only the criminals will contemporary ammunition! Those of us who want to stay legal will need to get matchlocks, muskets, and other muzzle loaded weapons!
Those are fun, but I don't like storing my gunpowder in barrels instead of cartridges.
Yep. Wooden powder flasks with pre-measured quantities. Ball and wadding stored separately. Just remember to snuff out your match when you don't think you'll be using it immediately.Ok, I haven't mussed with muzzle loaders that much, pre-sized fills?
Had a friend with a dad that loved black powder hobbycrafting/shooting. It's weird when you envision doing something and find yourself thinking, ''man, this'd be easier if we just used flintlocks instead. Caps? Positively decadent.''
Did the Wall Street Journal get the story right?
Funny thing is that the NYT admitted the next day that this was a bogus story:
"An editorial on Friday about the National Rifle Associations convention incorrectly described the rules for carrying concealed firearms at the event. Carrying is prohibited at one of the main convention venues, not all of them."
NYT and their biased left leaning reporting.
An editorial isn't a news story, but - as the name already suggests - an editorial comment. So, no evidence of any 'left leaning reporting' here (whatever that means).
