From: Germany
Germany suggests the UCSA do not attempt to control German foreign policy or the foreign policy of our allies. We see no reason why our nation needs to sign the Treaty of Washington since we have never truly been involved in a war and have been one of the most peaceful nations on the planet in recent times.

We apologize if Germany, Brazil, and Sweden had taken offense at our attempt to safeguard Asia from European aggression (since, not many signed the Treaty of Washington). As the current events show, Lowlands, even as one of the nations who actually DID sign the treaty, so blatantly ignored it and attacked Vietnam, for no other apparent reason than its imperialistic goals, and UCSA simply wanted to make sure it does not happen again. Our main goal of asking Germany, Sweden, and Brazil to sign the treaty was so that you may ensure Lowlands as you all are in an alliance, and it also accounts for our suspicion on Lowlands' intent, since Lowlands suddenly joined your alliance that they were trying to escape the terms of the treaty by joining with a group of nations who did not sign the treaty.
But nevertheless, we humly request that Germany, Brazil, and Sweden would ratify at least Haynes' 14 Points.
Also, do not feel threatened by the Democratic League. We have clearly revealed our intent: to protect democracy in the world, not to spread it. We are saddened that Germany, Brazil, and Sweden would feel threatened by this League, for it shows Germany's suspicion of UCSA and other democracies of the world. We do not ask that you recant the Authoritarian League, but we still wish that Germany, Brazil, Sweden, and UCSA could be friends.
