Nuke Nes IX: Genesis and Armageddon

The Heberians

Spoiler :

1. Formalize the scripture, and further consalidate the religion
2. Expand and settle up the Ganges and the Brahmaputra River Valleys, reaching the source of the Hindus River in the west.
3. Begin devloping sturdier and more seaworthy boats, to sail all around the Bay of Begnal establishing contact and trade with whatever peoples are found.
4. As part of the expansion, and as a domestic goal, establish numerous missions to convert the native Northern Indians to Mondeism. Teaching the fanatical worship of God.
5. Institute a series of societal changes, including the banning of all caffiene (including tea), all alchohol except wine, polygamy, and divorce. Establish the equal but diffirent doctrine concerning gender, declare being unfaithful to your spouse a sin (before and during marriage), encourage charity. Define a sacred place for those who did good in life, a hell for sinners, and a sort of purgatory.
6. During this time ensure Salic Sucession to preserve the Y chromosome of the Royal line.
7. Over this period the tribes in the south continue to assimilate, but remain argumentative people.

It's been a busy few days Nuke. I'm writing more of my histories then I'll write orders.

Sorry for not coming to this thread after getting back sooner. Anyways.
Orders!
Spoiler :
The Psion will begin their war leading to a break up of the two great kingdoms. A third kingdom will develope inland and take large chunks of the two ancient powers while what remains of them will unite against the new threat in a web of alliances based around city states. The ad-hock spirit religion will continue with the spirits being less intrusive sect winning out. Development of animal husbandry and road networks will be this era's major projects in order to deal with the logistics of war.
Sorry for no quick summary just think this is self explanatory. If you do have a question uhmmm just ask me. Was kind of in a hurry to get this out sorry.

Syntians

Spoiler :
The Synt kingdom will expand forcefully westward to the coastline. Consolidating all the tribes in the region under a single banner. Trade with the Mediterranean community will continue as will the major slave trade based out of Synt. The main goals for this period are consolidating the rest of Iberia and centralizing the peninsula with infrastructure around the capital and dynasty that rules over it.

Sorry, been on vacation, just got in the house, and I have mo0re pressing concerns for orders in other games first. Will get to this soon, although it will likely be tomorrow unless I finish early tonight.

At this current rate, we'll be lucky if we get the orders in by Wednesday, but I'm still planning on a Saturday update, so please get your orders in :p

Timur:

Spoiler :
Overall:
1) EXPAND rapidly, convert some bigger people and take over any tech they have, enslave others who have no use for us. We want to take over most of the big Islands.

2) Build up the empire, centralize the temple complexes and barracks or harbors with schools. This will create more urban environments. Around these complexes we will build a sewer system to drain water/filth. All complexes are located near fresh water.

Specific:

- We will use our recent build of temples to expand our knowledge. Individuality will be rewarded in the science area. People who have improvements to bring to their own profession will be able to start schools. These schools will be located in the temple complex.

- Expansion will be held to all big islands in our region. We will convert some bigger tribes if possible, others will be enslaved. We will send some scientists along with our forces to gather new info, new improvements or new techs.

- Cities will grow around complexes, we will use all our slaves to build sewers around the complexes. Slaves will also build up schools, and even more temples, harbors and barracks in new territories.

- If we encounter other big cultures, we will start trade talks. Our people only enslave minor cultures.

Almek Orders

Spoiler :
1. Almek society continues to divide only the sedentary-nomadic line with settlers following into the regions the nomadic tribes have claimed as the nomads push further west. This leads to two sub-sections of Almek culture forming as traditional games of horsemanship and other nomadic customs become replaced with customs more suited to sedentary life, such as dismounted archery. Almek religious beliefs (which I am going to rewrite in a different style and post today, if at all possible) also become more important to sedentary communities.

2. The nomadic Almeks still roam the plains as independent tribes, however, the warlords of the most powerful tribes continue to gain influence. As talk of the green pastures, mountains of gold and beautiful women beyond the Caspian Sea spread, the Almeks will continue to push west to explore these rumours. The hordes that move will be tumultuous and confusing but in essence two great movements will occur, one beneath the Caspian Sea and into Shia-Akalamdug u Nagul and one north of the Caspian Sea. This horde is less certain in its direction and it may chose to stop around the Caspian Sea, progress further west into the Kingdom of Stekli or south into Shia-Akalamdug u Nagul. It would seem important to provide some further information on Almek tactics. The Almeks are exceptional horsemen and rarely dismount to fight. They fight in tribal groups under clan chiefs with the ultimate command belonging to the warlord who coordinates the battle using couriers, the fastest horsemen on the fastest steeds, and later on signaling methods such as flags might be used. The couriers are resupplied with horses at the rear of the Almek force where wagons and horse corrals stand to keep warriors supplied with arrows and couriers with horses. This decentralised command structure with semi-autonomous units and only loose battle-plans leads to a very flexible fighting force with mobility and equipment not seen in the Western world. Walled cities are a new phenomenon to the Alemk, who are used to at worst a wooden palisade, but they are not stupid. They would probably try to burn any wooden parts of the fortifications, such as wooden gates. If they could not breach, they would try to force a battle by raining burning arrows into the city, causing firestorms. If that fails they'll probably decide to move on. I would imagine more sophisticated siege tactics developing.

3. I would imagine that the Almeks will further develop their saddles and bows with the invention of stirrups and treed saddles as well as further development of the composite bow.

OOC: Sorry for the major hold-up!

Still need orders from:

Eltain
Immaculate (?)
Lord of Elves

He rejoined this one and sent orders

Turyline Orders
Spoiler :
1. Expand westward into the Balkans, subjugating whatever tribal/nomad peoples inhabit the region, and integrating them culturally through means of slavery, basic wage-labor and perhaps eventually indentured servitude to the richer merchant families. Aim towards control over the eastern coastline of the Adriatic Sea if at all possible.

2. Continue to work towards basic metal-working, for the construction of armor and weapons and the supplement of our merchant marine.

3. That said, emphasize our merchant marine, with government subsidization as much as can be expected in the classical era. Basically intertwine government and the merchant caste wherever and whenever possible, and use our merchants as eyes, ears, emissaries and colonists. Begin fortifying the Anatolian hinterlands we control, and any barbarian non-Turyline types eking out a life in those regions should be slowly Turlyized, creating an additional military caste, presumably somewhat similar to various things the Romans did to use non-Latin peoples as indentured soldiers.

4. Promote agriculture, and in the areas inhabited by ethnic Turylines, work on an irrigation program to ensure the solvency and productivity of our rural lands. Encourage some level of poverty among farmers via taxes on their goods, further cementing the city-state, mercantile culture and institution.

Korowai Orders

Spoiler :
1. Expand to all of Papua New Guenea and have a policy of allowing those who have surrendered to fight with the Korowai. For those who are able to anyway, and for those who can't fight (small children and the elderly) to be moved into a safer area when need be.
2. Every woman is expected to stay in the home village but they are also required and trained how to fight and defend themselves and the village from invasion.
3. Create boats and start fishing off of nearby coastal waters.
4. Find and locate any metals sutable for metal working (for functional and decrative uses). Focus on devloping and creating bronze tools and items.
5. Start creating basic roads between villages allowing an increased amount of trade to occur between various tribes.
6. Start making astronomical oberservations and using them for navgational and religous purposes.

Description: Altairians are a mix of local peoples who settled in a bay area that they call the Felocia. There, the Altairians established a fisherman's lifestyle. Soon, the culture began to expand into the surrounding area as a result of continual population growth. The society became known for many philosophers, such as the great philosopher Adronaxia, who was the creator of the dominant school of Cursics, which places a high emphasis on honor and duty to community and society. The Altairian people are dark-haired and bronze skinned. The society is neither dominated by men nor women; men are often given the role of warriors and generals, and women often congregate in politics and philosophy, both roles being pivotal to Altairian culture and society.
