Nobody's ever been willing to hire me, so my resume is pretty unimpressive, even with some volunteer work on there. And because I've never had a job, and am basically unable to drive, it's very unlikely that anyone will want to hire me between now and spring. Which prevents me from getting the job experience I need to get a job. As far as I'm concerned, a "vacation" is just more dead time on my crappy resume to scare off employers. I was considering grad school, but I realized that I have no idea how that would benefit me, what I would do involving foreign language there, or even where to begin looking for the answers to these questions.
Besides echoing what others have said, I would recommend looking at a staffing agency. I got a temp job (that went permanent) just under a month after graduation -and I wasn't looking at all the first three weeks. I'm not planning on staying at this place (and I'm looking for a new job more in my area of interest) but it gives me experience, avoids that awkward resume gap, and considering my low expenses pays decently.

It is an infinite parallel plate capacitor.

(As you can guess, my test was on electrostatics).

If hell is infinite, and has a finite number of people, then we can reasonably conclude that the people density of hell is approximately zero, thus invalidating the assertion that "hell is other people."

considering hell will freeze over before i have sex with allison williams, it's endothermic.

Well, that's not a very "can-do" attitude, is it? :p

Jesus...
so, she wrote my and asked if I have plans for the weekend (early morning).
I said no, and asked if she'd like to go for dinner (early afternoon).
And in the late afternoon, she has a headache.
This. Is. Cursed.

Let's see tomorrow.

i wouldn't have ranted if i didn't check there and learned of no mac version.
I think steam might have a Mac version… are you willing to sell your soul to DRMs?

3 days of holiday also means 3 days without staff cafe discounted dinners.

Doh.

Gah. Suddenly something I did a year ago comes back to my mind and ruins my day.

Selling your soul is totes worth those sales though.
How much are you asking for yours?
nope. nothing on steam.
Then maybe GOG…? I know I've seen it on sale somewhere. Perhaps The civIII official site.

*searches*
Here, in the official site. If you select Spain, France or Poland as your region you get the option for a Mac Steam version. :crazyeye: So it might be worth trying. ;)

i tried spain, but it redirects me to the steam page, which doesn't have mac.

Was about to sleep, and then came across a massive spider in my room. I armed myself with a tupperware container and a piece of paper, and we engaged in a tense stand-off for about ten minutes. It hid in a position where I couldn't trap it, before scurrying to another such position, and then into an entirely inaccessible crevice, from where it will presumably watch as I fall asleep, before launching its final attack.

*Shudder*

Did you get it?
