There was another mass shooting at a garlic festival in the city of Gilmore in California. The gunman is alleged to have cut a hole in a fence and crossed a stream to get into the festival where he opened fire, killing 3 (including a 6 year old). Police were at the festival and responded within a minute, killing the attacker. The shooter and motive have not been identified.

My deepest condolences, I don't know what to say, so many killing these days, the killer don't know who they killed while the one who got passed away don't know why they being targeted in the first place, I hope better years will come for all of us in the near future.

I do slightly feel bad for an adult who gets effed up by a wild animal when the adult was being a dope, but I'm finding that I have no patience for these morons who bring children up close to wild animals. First, a 9-year-old girl gets tossed into the air when a group of tourists at Yellowstone got within 10 feet of an adult bison, and now a 17-year-old girl gets gored and thrown after she walked in between two bulls who were fighting each other. I've never seen a bison in person, but aren't they like the size of a friggin' SUV? Both kids are fine, btw, the teenager's in a hospital in Bismarck, the little girl went home. If they're not traumatized for life, I guess they'll have a cool story to tell.

This was the 9-year-old, last week. If you're a parent, this might give you a little heart-attack, but she didn't get gored, and I guess they still bounce at that age (she went home from the hospital the same day).

I took this pic at Badlands NP. I was driving down a gravel road at the time in a rental car, and the bison was trotting along as fast as I was willing to drive a rented sedan on a gravel road.
They aren't really the size of an SUV. A big one weighs about a ton. A large car weighs 2 tons. But that's still a very large and powerful animal. And it's still a wild animal. And while not an aggressive animal, will only put up with so much crap before handing some back.

The world is full of people who are just desperate to be angry. I was pulling into a shopping center, and the main access in crosses this main parking lot thoroughfare...with them having a stop sign because no one wants people coming into the shopping center to have to stop, of course. Besides, people might back up into the street behind them if they are stopped there.
Anyway, there's no one behind me and I'm in a really good mood, and I have no question that this guy on a skateboard is not going to stop at a stop sign meant for mere automobiles. So I stop my four thousand pound truck so that he and his three pound skateboard can cross in front of me without getting mashed into the pavement. I'm not even mad at the guy. I mean, what the heck, I'm not in any hurry and maybe he is.
He is square in front of my truck when he locks eyes and commences the death stare. I'm mostly just listening to my music and waiting, but...well, I am watching him. I mean, he is in front of my truck and until he has passed I really can't do much else. But when he is out of the way he dramatically kicks his board up and catches it so he can turn straight towards me and say "what are you looking at?"
