Ordered a turkey bacon sandwich, got an egg sausage muffin. Pointed it out to the employee and got "That sucks. Have a good night." as response.
This is why the phrase "I want to talk to your supervisor" was invented.
There have been numerous times when McDonalds or some other restaurant has mucked up my orders via Skip the Dishes. The first thing I do is check the order to make sure everything is correct. If something isn't correct, I get right on the customer service chat line, and (if lucky) the matter is straightened out right away (in the form of Skip credits). If unlucky, I end up arguing with them for 20 minutes, pointing out that they do so owe me the GST I paid for the items that were either missing or improperly substituted (yes, it matters if they substitute bacon for sausages).
It was their idea! One thing that hurts me too, is that they are also both good friends of each other, and I have this fear that they're still friends and I've been cut out
Yeah, it hurts to be cut out of a group and not told until you try to get in contact. The mother of one friend was very surprised when she picked up the phone; she asked why I wasn't out to supper with the rest of them. Turns out they'd been having monthly get-togethers for over a year and nobody mentioned it to me. Then later one of them said, "A lot has been happening here that you've been missing out on. You should phone me sometime and I'll tell you about it."
Um, no. If it's something they really wanted me to know, I'd have been in on it from the get-go. This was years ago, I haven't heard one syllable since, so that's that. I don't have patience for playground crap anymore, especially from someone who's five years older than I am.
Another rant: my Steam is broken. I played some Civilization a couple days ago, and Steam says I'm still playing, and won't let me close or do anything!
That happens with my games too, sometimes. It's not just Steam; it's happened with Big Fish Games and iWin as well.
