If I were to take it into my head to rate all the subs on the menu at Subway I'm not sure what I would put at the top, but without doubt I would put the meatball sub at the bottom.

Subway used to be pretty darn good too. Then everything got cheap and they continued down that spiral instead of pricing more appropriately. Seriously they were my go-to for years and then ugh....

Blameit on the profit margins because profit margins are all that matters everything does even when they say We care about the environment and Important Causes its because of profit margins because the shareholders will yell and yell and yell otherwise

Depends on how they supply their ingredients down south, I guess. Cold cuts have taken a dive in quality in North America but the premium meats are still fine (IMO). My staples are tuna salad, egg salad, steak, and rotisserie chicken. The chicken, however, is really hit or miss.

That said, if you have an alternative sub shop, probably better to go with them. Here, Subway is the only reasonable and affordable option (Quiznos is GARBAGE). When I'm down in Seattle there's a franchise called Sub Shop that's better than Subway and almost identical in price so I go there instead.

Actually, fixed-width fonts sometimes help get into character when doing creative writings. They're a nice touch if and when they are used properly. Ubuntu Mono goes well with the rest of the Ubuntu font set for such uses.

I don't know if they are a major chain or just local, but we have a string of sandwich shops called SubMachine, with a tommy gun on the logo and all the sandwiches named for classic era mobsters. They're really good.

It should be noted that the WHO (not the band) classifies processed meat as a carcinogen and nothing Subway sells resembles something that comes from an animal. It's not as bad as, say smoking but it's probably best to avoid it if you can.
