Sometimes I'll start typing a response to a thread in the 'quick reply' box underneath the latest message, then change my mind and delete it. The forum software remembers, though, and leaves my partially-written response there every time I open the thread again. I just have to delete it again when I do write an eventual response. This can occasionally be baffling when the saved text is referencing text written days ago and I have no memory of what I was trying to say, since the conversation in the thread has moved on.
It is a reflex of mine to quickly click the floppy disk in the Quick Reply bar and then click Delete Draft every time I delete a message.
Rant: There are Chinese kids here being edgy and coughing in people's faces before shouting "I just got back from Wuhan!" They've been doing it so much that there's been a police van stationed outside the school for two days now, I presume to catch them in the act and then do... something? Write their parents a strongly worded letter, perhaps.
Anyways, it's agitating, and the police presence hasn't seemed to do anything to lessen it. I was a teenager once but I don't understand the appeal. There doesn't appear to be a gotcha involved.
