They're good starting points for the lore itself; what the background of the universe is. They're also ostensibly the best episodes of the whole show.

Beyond that all you need to know is Finn is a dumb kid who likes adventuring and Jake is his very lazy dog/brother who can change himself into any shape he wants. Because magic (or "magic").

I have repeatedly. Currently, the Anti civ game of choice is the TAC mod for Civ4 Colonization because it's scratching the olde schoole gaming itch and I can't find my original Colonization CD.

Jinx! That's been the Tim civ of choice for the past few weeks as well! Getting down to the short strokes though. I'm about ready to declare independence from the evil European overlords and crush them beneath my rebellious heel!

I hate CivCol. The liberty bell mechanic is so annoying, mainly because it is tied to the founding father mechanic and the REF expedition force.

I've found my civ choice for the past few weeks has been ROM AND.

So I tend to only check my phone when I put it on charge before bedtime.

That was at 00.30 tonight. There's a text message asking me if I can turn up at 8am tomorrow to work for 6 hours overtime (I only have a 10 hour Saturday contract, and asked for another 6 hours overtime on anyday to make up the 16 hours cap Im allowed to work on top of my benefits).

So I tried going right to bed. 10 mins later ... Oh yea, Id better get my uniform ready. 30 mins later ... Oh, let me make sure I have my hearing aids put into my bag. Another 15 mins later ... Oh, I'll need bus fares for off peak travel cos my pass wont work, I'll forget if I don't put it in my wallet now.

Then another 1 hour later I realize there's no way I'm falling asleep, and I have to wake up at 5.30 am to get a bus into town at 6.18, and then to the next town where I'm actually working.

Sleep is for the weak! I'll just stay awake, turn up, get knackered, get home, swallow 30 mg mirtazapine, shower, and pass out afterwards into my sedated epic nightmare fueled sleep paralysis.

Yay. Only 3 hours before I have to be up, so I'll just lay in bed typing away on my phone.

And now I'm off to work in 10 mins for my first day of paid employment in over 8 years!

They all come with a great long list of unwanted side-effects though.

I've even come across headache pills that included "may cause headaches" as a listed side-effect.

Which is up there with "may contain nuts" on a packet of nuts.

Most of the city center is shut down today. There are police everywhere blocking the main roads. I went with a crowd going down the side streets and eventually got near the one of the main streets of the bazaar but then I saw tear gas and people running away and turned back. Later I saw a big crowd and they were holding a bulletproof vest that was on fire. I felt like I should go back but then I saw a family walking around and most people looked relaxed so I thought it can't be that bad.

The protests are because government employed workers haven't been paid for months.
