And then there's these here job things.

My father has been eating my Oreos.

My father has been eating my Oreos.
This sounds like a code for something completely different.

I.e. "the goose flies at midnight" or something.

So what are you really saying, Tak?

rant -

The sleeping pills which were working for 2 weeks have stopped being effective. It has been the same for 3-4 types of pills already and my psychiatrist said that since I have a brain tumor, no pills will really help me.

it has been a long road insomnia, here I greet you again. I really need to find something productive to do in these 2am-5am hours when I'm half asleep.

It means that my father has been sneaking my Oreos out of the kitchen cupboard and eating them.

My.

Oreos.

dude you gotta admit "stealing my Oreos" sounds like a euphemism for something

I don't know. Aren't they usually attached to the body? Trying to separate them from the body would be something you'd notice.

Sorry to hear that, insomnia can be very destructive. What kind of pills have you been taking? Amitriptyline really helped for my insomnia for a long while but I'm back off them now due to some possible side effects.

The closest thing I have to a productive 2am-5am activity is audiobooks. But often enough I'm way too tired for that. Just not tired enough to fall sleep..

wow you took that to a weird place

Snerk, have you tried moving to a place on the planet where the sun actually sets?
Yes, and while that happens, [fill in bad thing happening] is also occurring.
Yes. I am not eating my Oreos.

I don't joke about such things. I have a rather limited supply of those delicious cream-filled biscuit sandwiches.

you underestimated the power of posting regularly on OT

that is, the way you begin to lose sense of shame/sensitivity

Now that's an euphemism!

I'm not gonna lie, I'm not a big fan of sunny nights. I'd gladly welcome some darkness in these summer nights. Now, my bedroom gets pretty dark, but I'd prefer complete black out.

I wouldn't mind a blackout for the entire summer, as its majestic rise from its malevolent skythrone in the skies only signifies one more attempt of the Sun trying to take us all out.

Then you'd really love it here abouts at around mid-winter.

Delicious delicious darkness.

Unlike other posters, I haven't yet expressed an intention to visit Bulgaria's beaches.

Oh, and he's done it again. He's just eaten more of my Oreos.

Your body responds to it anyway.
