Play with me.
I freed a robin that was tangled up in string hanging from a tree, but it's leg was broken so i doubt it will last long.......

It flew away, poor birdie....Take it to a vet.
Git gud.how hard could [chicken] be to de-bone, especially as I had to cut it up ahead of time?
Answer, very hard.
It flew away, poor birdie....
My answer to the first type of problem is to separate the meat and bones after cooking. If the meal will not allow for that, I make a different meal. My answer to the second is to reduce it, is always makes the meal nicer than without the reduction step.Making a somali chicken stew for dinner. Grocery store didn't have boneless chicken thighs, so I picked up some bone-in on sale thinking how hard could it be to de-bone, especially as I had to cut it up ahead of time?
Answer, very hard.
While I was grumpy about having to throw out probably half the chicken because I couldn't get it off the bone, I misread the directions and put in 1 2/3 cup of coconut milk (which was way thicker than the last brand I got) instead of 1 cup. So my stew has extra liquid even though it has less meat than I intended.
Drat.
Had you taken it to the vet they would almost certainly have put it down.It flew away, poor birdie....
My power has gone off twice today.
That's why wildlife rehabilitation centres exist. They can usually save animals that a domestic animal vet wouldn't have a clue how to save.Had you taken it to the vet they would almost certainly have put it down.
Why your hand?My last 20km hike left me with nasty friction burn across left hand
Why your hand?
Funny story, really. My dog sometimes gets overexcited on these walks and starts running and jumping around me. This time he decided to run at full speed between my legs. I was using one of those self-reeling leashes, and had to grab the leash itself to prevent it from cutting into much more sensitive parts of my anatomy. Guess what happens when you try to grab thin strip of synthetic fabric that's unreeling with full force of 30kg half-malinois mutt behind it.
