Rant: I still can't come up with a menacing and sinister name for the alien race that is the antagonist of my story; none of them seem, to me anyway, as menacing and sinister as the aliens Sitchin came up with.

Why do they have to have a sinster name? In the book Demon by John Varley the principle villain was Kali -named after the Hindu goddess of the Home- who was described as the avatar of Atrocity. The Priest Luther was also up there, being described as Frankensteins nightmare after a three-day bender and a car wreck.

Kali is a figure of destruction, and death. While lately both of those are seen by many to be at least partially benign, or even beneficial, that's a long way away from the hearth. You may be thinking of Parvati.

RANT: Missed my first college class. The teacher had said we were having it in a different room, a lab of some kind, but she in fact didn't know where it would be. She also said she'd post the info to blackboard just as soon as she knew, but no, that didn't happen either.

So through no fault of my own I'll be penalized :\
