...planetesimal accretion can be inhibited even in the outer disk (4-10 AU) far from the central binary, a location previously thought to be a plausible starting point for the formation of circumbinary planets.

It's a little close to death for the new fifty, methinks.

When your parents are both in their sixties, you suddenly have to readjust your prejudices about older ages!

I suppose this belief of mine is because most of my favorite activities (or at least the ones I'd do given the time and money) involve a fair amount of physical activity. Frankly, I might be a bit nervous doing a lot of riding at the age of 68. Then again, if I fell off, broke some bones, and died, I'd at least die in an interesting way and escape a slow wasting away in a nursing home that might otherwise have come in a decade or so.

My mother is already in her mid-sixties and whilst she's hardly one of those super-sporty "action grans", she's still as active as ever and I hope will be for many years to come!

This essay is just killing me, gah. Usually I'm great at crapping out essays (good and bad) but this one, this one's just being a dick about it and not even letting me get more than a page in before killing my momentum.

I think I need more sleep.

Powers back on last bight yet Comcast is taking its sweet time restoring services .

Then Raves thread is over there -->

Freaking gangnam style. In about 2 weeks that thing will be about as popular as the macarena or kris kross.

What's macarena? What's kris kross?

I love being oblivious to '90s pop culture.

I want to die. Now.

Why do people keep assuming 70+% probability is equal to 100%? Pro-tip: this is not the case. :gripe:

The same reason so many people think that qualifiers like "usually", "most", "many", and so on mean "always" or "all". I go out of my way to carefully qualify most of my statements, and when people ignore that and instead put words in my mouth...[pissed]
