Random Rants XLII: The Four-Part Plan

Few times I have felt that I was being taught something truly wrong. I frequently corrected or complemented my teacher's explanations and that gave me a reputation for being some kind of always-studying bookworm.

Too much wind.

One time as a Freshman my teacher mixed up Mestizo and Mulatto. Thank God I corrected him, otherwise my fellow students would've been sounding ignorant their whole lives.

What's the definition? Mulatto is 50/50 right? Mestizo's something similar, isn't it?

Rant:
Well, attitude towards women goes a long way, along with how you present yourself. I don't claim to be some confident hunk but I'd like to think I carry myself enough that it's clear that the actions of another don't influence me if I don't want it to, which translates as confidence to some women.

Either way, seeing women as women is a pretty good start to getting a girl's number. ;)
Geeee, thanks for giving me yet another reason to utterly loathe myself. :(

Spoiler :
inb4 "you must first love yourself before you can love another"

(No offense to you though, congrats on getting her number. :) )

Mestizo /mɛˈstizoʊ/[1] is a term traditionally used in Spain and Latin America for people of mixed heritage or descent. In some countries it has come to mean a mixture of European and Amerindian, while in others, such as Venezuela, mestizo means being mixed without specifying which admixture
You're not wrong, that's for sure.

Consider it helpful advice, instead. Loathing yourself is a turn off. Loving yourself is too (being a narcissist is frowned upon, usually).

Either way, this isn't a therapy page, so.. I'll just leave it alone.

Mulatto is European/African, Mestizo is European/Native American, I think. I might be wrong, though.
Mulato, with only one t, when you speak in Spanish.

It's got more native speakers than English, so… :mischief:

There's always PM, ya know. ;) Can't let that red + next to each of our usernames go to waste ya know. :mischief:

What is this witchcraft?

Actually, it is used to indicate which forum members you have friended on the forum software. So, if I'm in your friends list on your member profile, you will see the red + next to my username in certain locations, and vice versa. Hope this helps. :)

Of course, if you already knew about that, disregard this post then. :)

Well, if you count "Oh God, oh God, oh God!" and "Are you in yet?" as a viable alternative language, then you may be onto something. :)

So is a place where three paths meet.
