Random Rants XLIX - IT CHAFES MY ARSE!!!

Rant: Jesus christ my computer almost gave me a heart attack. Shuts itself off because I assume it overheated, then when I tried to turn it back on only the front fans and the ones on my graphics card were spinning, all at full power. My back fan and CPU fan weren't moving, and when I tried to shut it off using the main power button nothing happened. This screamed to me that something was up with the motherboard, and I thought for a sec that it had died on me or something. Eventually I unplugged the main power source to the motherboard, and replugged it back in, and then everything started up fine again.
Near miss, goddamn. Now, to resolve the problem of my computer overheating now that I lack air conditioning, blech.

EDIT: Well, no double post, so here's a legit rant some minutes later...
Crappy marketing pisses me off, especially when it's for a product I've been a loyal customer of for many years. Which is it, Nero? Is it Nero 2014, or is it Nero 12?! Pick one and move forward with it. Don't call it both because that can lead to confusion and it's just crappy marketing. My personal preference is Nero 12, btw, but kiss my butt for irritating me on Labor Day morning.
