Apparently you have to be 18+ to buy matches here. What the heck?! I've bought matches from there before and no one's cared. It's because they have an old fart manning the cash register. Because everyone under 18 is an arsonist....

I looked on Google Image Search for "hgss", expecting to find lots of good Pokemon stuff. I was, mostly, not disappointed. But some of the high-relevancy images depicted Hermione Granger and Severus Snape in compromising positions.

I have never read any Harry Potter fanfic or slashfic in my life and I'm definitely not going to start now.

At least you don't live in Elk River, like I do. The rampant ageism here is appalling. Then again, this is the absolute most conservative and most heavily Republican town in all of MN, or so I've heard. Elk River is the one you want to blame for getting Michelle Bachmann elected, since it is included in her district.

Went under the knife about a week ago and the recovery is kicking my ass. I'm almost out of painkillers and I've been bedridden without much to do. It's very sad, but OTOH I've had plenty of time to play Zelda games. Prominent among these is Wind Waker, hence my avatar change. It's really delightful but I miss the sunlight.

Chicken isn't a technological innovation. Fried chicken isn't, either. Serving food in buckets is an abomination.

I hope everything heals up and the pain goes down. If you run out of painkillers and you're still feeling bad, you can ask your doctor for more and s/he'll most like oblige. They may give you a weaker does, but they may just re-up your old RX. Either way you'll be better off.

Oh and don't go to work the day after you come off painkillers if you've been taking them regularly for a week or more. Trust me, coming off painkillers after a surgery sucks and the worst place to do it is at work.


Also, Wind Waker is my favorite Zelda game.

You know, I know a lot of obese people, but I don't think I've ever seen anyone eat a bucket of KFC by themselves. I think the most I've ever had in one sitting is maybe half a bucket, and I felt pretty crappy afterwards.

I tried to install X3-Terran Conflict but I can't because the disc has some serious scratches. I bought this game a year ago and never got around to actually play it.
