Random Rants XLVIII: Worst. Thread Title. Ever!

I hope everything heals up and the pain goes down. If you run out of painkillers and you're still feeling bad, you can ask your doctor for more and s/he'll most like oblige. They may give you a weaker does, but they may just re-up your old RX. Either way you'll be better off.

Oh and don't go to work the day after you come off painkillers if you've been taking them regularly for a week or more. Trust me, coming off painkillers after a surgery sucks and the worst place to do it is at work.


Also, Wind Waker is my favorite Zelda game.

Ocarina of time is my fave Zelda game.

But dear god.... that damn horse race. It took me literally years to figure out that damn thing. I've managed to beat the game a couple time without that damned animal. I even managed to barely get the biggoron's sword a few times as well. I finally eventually caved in and got a game guide/walkthrough to figure out how to win that damned horse race. It didn't help that I already had a pre-existing hatred of horses before I got the game.

I partially hate my new appartment.
Apparently there's no real floor in here. The old tenant just threw some carpets over the pure concrete (and not even in a fitting way).
The living room is not parquet, but linoleum.
Basically all walls need to be painted (not even considering the child drawings...).
There's at least one lamp missing, and 2 more consist only out of a light bulb.
The floor is so dirty, my feet are black from going barefeet.

All within the regulations. I should read that crap more closely before I sign it, and I should check all the necessary things more closely before I move in the next time.

I'll concede that I can go overboard, but my point is, even given my rather powerful appetite, I can't consume an entire bucket by myself.

There are craptastic landlords everywhere, some of which genuinely are breaking the law but haven't been called on it yet. Always read the contract and view the flat/apartment first!

Our male cat, Charlie is desperate to go out, but he can't because he has some infection on the bottom of his chin and we got it removed, there was a small lump there, and now he has to stay indoors for two days. He is nt going to like this and plus we have to make sure he doesn't scratch it.

Hey, I'm fat and I enjoy being fat. I don't need a bunch of skinny snobs telling me what to do with my body.

More power to ya. It's the health aspect with which I'm concerned -- too much fast food, processed foid, etc.

I want to live a long healthy life. That is, at least until I'm tortured to death in prison.

Go for it. For you, I recommend high carb (60%) diet, 25% fat and 15% protein. That was my triathlon diet 1988-1992. That, plus at least 15 hours' workout a week. Are you iver 18? If not, check with a doctor before taking my advice.

The problem: It's not against the law, just lower than my standard is. And I've seen it before, but didn't notice the problems .

Found another point, where a lamp is supposed to be.
Yesterday the building main lock was broken, but at least that got fixed today.
And currently I can't access the trash, because something with my card (yeah, RFID chip or something like that, to access the trash) is broken.
Oh hell.
