Random Rants XLVIII: Worst. Thread Title. Ever!

I'm getting homesick. I have been spending a lot of time studying with my buddies up at the University and all I want is to spend a full day home with my wife. Even though the ball game yesterday was a lot of fun I still found myself just wanting some alone or with-wife time. Now my buddies want to go out drinking twice this coming weekend which will also be fun but I still want to be home alone - particularly because I'm going to spend so much time studying this week.

Worst of all is it's my own fault that I have to spend so much time studying now. If I had put in more time studying earlier this summer I'd have lots of free time now.

Just stay home. Really, it's that simple. Sure, you might the the ol ball and chain razzing from you buddies, but you know what? They're out drinking with one another and you're spending quality time with your woman. Trust me, they're probably jealous.

I know dude and that's solid advice. The problem is I already agreed to do it and already backed out at the last minute the last time I agreed to hang out. Peer pressure. :\

I just need to not go.

Edit: I could drag along the wifey though, that would be a good compromise and she fits in with my friends.

If you are anything like me, you won't be capable of meaningful thoughts on the day you get the wisdom teeth removed. The dentist loaded me up on some really high class drugs.

I think Operation: Anne Frank is a bust.

We've been hiding our puppy from the realtors because they won't let us put him on the lease till he's older even though we were happy to pay the $25/mo to keep him. This morning, as I was putting the dogs out one of the realtor agents drove by to show a vacant apartment and saw me. My only hope is that she doesn't remember us or that we only have one dog but I'm not hopeful. We're going to be in big trouble if she does remember.

Puppy's adult canines are coming in but the milk canines haven't fallen out, which is a problem and we may have to extract them.

The news keep showing the crowds of people waiting outside the palace and outside the hospital. Apparently a lot of people, from all over the world, find the royals very interesting. I have no idea why.

The weather (the heavy rain more than the thunder) woke me up too, but it's been stiflingly hot in the West Country of late, so that's only a good thing.
