I waited almost an hour to meet and talk to someone who didn't show up. I had nothing to do there, I didn't know whether I should go home or stay, so I just waited in front of some kind of a mall, sitting on the stairs, doing
nothing. People came, made phonecalls, waited, met who they were supposed to meet, went for a drink or something, talked, and eventually left... all while I was still there. I called 4-5 times, waiting a reasonable amount of time between each call, with no answer. In the end, the lacking-common-sense-person I was waiting for did pick up, and was surprised that I am using an "arguing" tone on the phone. Of course I was being way too kind.
Normally I would have left much earlier, but I'm going out of town the day after tomorrow and I thought it would be the only chance. The person told me that "some friends" were going out after work, and asked me if I wanted to join them later. Of course I didn't want to, being angry, tired, and having an amazingly lot of work to do. In the end, my (obviously uber-awesome) persuasion skills made it so that tomorrow we'll
supposedly meet at the same place, same time. I'm not waiting more than 10 minutes this next time, and I'm gonna use some real "arguing tone" if the story repeats itself.
