People who send me messages with correct spelling and grammer will receive a likewise message in return. People who use shorthand grammer and mannerisms will receive likewise in return - hopefully it will make them realise how incomprehensible it can be.

I lack a cell phone, so I don't text message any grammar at all, good or bad.

Although, I am on RuneScape sometimes, where there's plenty of chatspeaking, and I try to at least speak with some degree of literacy. Given that the game's chat won't let you use the <- and -> keys to move around, and so you have to hit backspace a bunch of times to fix mistakes, I can understand why RuneScape players talk so strangely.

I sometimes cut corners when texting, but only if the word is obviously recognizable. Im such a slow texter to begin with, and I'd rather just call people.

Same here. I don't think I've ever sent a message without full grammar and punctuation, regardless of the language I'm using.

I use common, simple shorthands in text messages, nothing like the incomprehensible jumble of letters I sometimes receive Otherwise I spell fully on facebook etc.

What also bugs me is that sometimes people deliberately misspell to sound cooler or whatever.

Well, I remember I saw one year you said you took like 11 subjects (though it was IGCSE).

And well, 11 subjects (and each subject has at least 2 papers...you can do the math )
