What the hell is it with people wanting to use cheesy clip art in professional productions?!
Sure I'll do clip art for internal stuff but clip art on boards when you're presenting to a city government?!
As a designer, clip art is to me as Sims 2 is to an interior designer or a bucket of eclairs from Costco are to a high end chef. It's tacky, highly unprofessional, EXTREMELY lazy and does not fit into the overall design if a corporate style has already been set. I swear I thought I was going to physically become ill when I heard the engineer ask for the clip art to be changed from a small man with a big ear to a waiter with a bow wrapped bridge on the platter to a small man with a big box.
The same can be set about people that want everything in Microsoft Word! They want something that's already pretty difficult in InDesign and translate it into a word processing program that doesn't have an object based interface!

Seriously I hate these kind of people more than jaywalkers that take their sweet time crossing the street or cyclists that bike on the line that separates the actual bike lake from the car lane!
