Why am I seeing more and more new films coming out in 3D?

I hate 3D! [pissed]

EDITED TO ADD: Also, I woke up this afternoon with two mysterious mosquito bites on one of my fingers. And then there's two more on the finger next to it. :mad:
 
Still a multitude of things to be sorted out, although this could be seen as a good thing.
 
Why does newer game designs have to suck so bad compared to the smooth nice sounds and visuals used in games like Warcraft II?
 
Watched A Few Good Men. The comparison of anaerobic to aerobic cellular respiration was misleading and inaccurate. No, the body doesn't "burn sugar instead of oxygen" when there is no O2. It also burns sugar when there is O2 with the help of the oxygen. I would have thought the doctor would have described it more accurately.

And the lack of resolutions past 640x480 means you're stuck either playing it blurry and pixelated, or in a tiny box in the middle of a modern monitor.
 
I'm beginning to think newer editions of textbooks are there just to discourage reselling of similar, older editions which are used.
 
If you can get away with using an old textbook, you're in the wrong field

What? I've taken biology, chemistry, physics, math, computer science and econ courses at university, and they were all fine with old textbooks...

Do English and Women's Studies really have that many more breaking new discoveries than sciences; enough to warrant new textbooks?
 
I suppose it depends on what you count as old - medicine, for example, it would be ten years or so while in English it could be fifty
